Memories of an Arsonist *Hiatus*
Description
He lived and will continue living for centuries He had known and observed mankind for a longer time than anyone has. He had seen that in spite of outer beauty, how inner ugly of a man can be. He is aware how precious life is and still a lot of people take it for granted. He is also aware how sad death can be but never-dying is way more worse. He is an arsonist, only the special kind one. Yes, he intentionally burns others properties but not to cause them harm. He burns their memories and all things that will make him remembered to be forgotten. He just doesn’t want to be remembered in any possible way. He doesn’t want anything or anyone to be his cause of living. He doesn’t want anyone to be permanently on his side. He knows he will suffer more that way. But, is disappearing into her memories can be enough to avoid attaching himself passionately into her?
While, she lived in the modern world but in an obsolete tale. She was an orphan at a young age. But she never gave up or blamed anyone. She believes even how messy things are right now, everything will be alright. She is grateful for every single thing she receives whether it is pain or happiness. She sees all of it in the positive way. But can she keep her optimism when she will soon be forgotten by the one she treasures?
Will love suffice and conquer Suffering? Lost memories? And most of all time?

PROLOGUE:
“Kyuhyun-ah” she said as she sat beside him on the wooden bench swing at her front porch. She was looking at her feet as the swing goes lightly back and forth.
“Waeyo?” He asked with curiosity and turned his head toward hers. He is just watching her playing with her feet and a smile curved in his lips.
“I am really scared to ask you this…” she looks like she’s having second thought to ask and tilt her head a little on the side. He knew the question will be kind of serious but he is ready to answer her.
“But…” she continued. You can tell that she is still hesitant with the sound of her voice and still looking down as the swing continues to slowly sway.
“But?”He asked her using the last word she spoke. Only he sounded firm and demanding. He wanted her to continue what she’s going to ask. He looked away from her and shifts his gaze up to the sky. Then, he closed his eyes.
“Will you also forget all the things happened right now? in the past few days? Or the moment I saw you?” Then a series of question came from .You can say she kind of felt relieved.
Then, she released a heavy sigh and built her composure. “I mean… Will I sooner or later vanish from your memory?” from her feet, her eyes went toward his side.
She saw that he wasn’t looking at her but up in the vast sky with still his eyes shut. The way she looks at him, you can see how badly she wants to hear the answer. But at the same time, she is afraid of what his answer going to be.
“Ne” he coldly said as he opens his eyes.
“But not because I want to… I just need to” he continued and met her eyes. He can see how saddened she is by his answer. Seeing how concerned she is, he couldn’t stop himself letting out a little smile.

A/N: Hello there. It is my first time writing my own fan fiction. I just created my own supernatural character which is an Arsonist. Besides of controlling fire and having an immortal life, I will reveal more about him and what more can he do as the story goes on. This mainly focus about SeoKyu couple and the rest are minor characters. I am having second thoughts of posting this story, worrying it might not be good enough. Also, I can’t promise to update soon but I’ll try my best to. Hope you enjoy :) Credits to the awesome A+Changjo Poster Shop for the awesome poster.

--I just like to add a couple of things in the foreword. I should have done this a long time ago and yes, I marked this story on hiatus. To my lovely and loyal readers, I am really grateful to you that is why I have decided not to delete this story but I am asking you just to bear a little longer (I hope) I am also sorry if I am unable to update regularly. I do know it is upsetting because I am a reader myself but unfortunately I am somehow lost my vision about how will the story go. I know I am ranting unecessarily but i just felt I need to say a few words about this story's status. So to wrap it up, I have decided to continue this story (just don't know when) and I will completely understand if you decided to unsubscribe. Well then, I hope in the near future I will have to delete this post and update regularly. Till next time~ :> --
