"Father, why don't you let me do the missions?" Hyomin asked, daring to look her father straight in the eye. "I need you for something more important." he muttered, looking away. He searched for a reasonable explanation. "Because you're not ready, darling." he replied, his eyes softening. Her eyebrows immediently knit together, and she stood up. Hyomin wasn't about to go down without a fight, not now, not ever. "You let Areum go out!" she exclaimed, raising her voice slightly. "She trained for only 11 years, I trained for what, 17 years?!" 

   Her father sighed. There wasn't a logical way to explain this, and even if he did, it would look like he's playing favorites. "I let you go out before!" her father stood up, gesturing to the weapons on the wall. Yes, those were all Hyomin's weapons, which she had used just a week ago. "You assign Areum missions every single week! Sometimes even 2 in one week!" she yelled, enraged now. "That's because Areum needs training, you don't." her father spat, rubbing his temples.

"But, wait, what?" Hyomin settled down. Sitting back down on the couch, she nudged her dad's arm. "What is it?" she asked, her eyes wide. "Tell me. C'mon, please. Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me." Her dad rolled his eyes, and then turned to her. "You have a very special mission. We thought you needed some backup, so we started training Areum more. Heck, Areum has way more pressure on her than you do right now. Her missions are especially dangerous, but some are just tests. That answer your question?" her father asked, turning away.

"You didn't tell me about the mission yet!" Hyomin pushed, nudging her dad once again. "Oh yeah, that." he spoke sarcastically, then turned serious. "It's a very special mission, as I said before. Re-enforcements are a must. Your safety, and your sister's, are the number one priority in this. Okay?" he asked, making sure. Hyomin nodded, eagerly waiting for the answer. "You are going to-"
