Where the heck can I find tacos in Korea?! I’m pretty sure the closest thing to tacos here is SHINee’s Taemin who claims to be a dorito. (SOY UN DORITO hehe). At least there a whole new variety of food here. Yes, I, Vera lee, am a food addict. I love it-who doesn’t?
You’re going to hear a lot about me so let me introduce myself. My name is Vera Lee. My father, who is Caucasian, had the surname along with my mother who is half Korean. Ironic isn’t it? My father grew up in New Jersey whereas my mother lived most of her life in the Philippines. Somehow, most of my life was spent in Iowa. Yup, that landlocked state smack dab in the middle of the Midwest. Don’t imagine me as an Iowan farm girl though, because I lived in the second largest city. I started listening to kpop in 6th grade. I was one fan out of one thousand people. My lifelong friend, Claire, was introduced to kpop by myself about 2 years later.
I’m sorry, but am I boring you? I AM impeccably awkward…kinda like Onew.
