The cute little girl eyed him. She tilted her head to the side, making her pink *binyeo bouncing a little, and stared at the twelve years old boy who sat in front of him, playing with his little drum toy. He wore a dark blue *jeonbok over his soft green *obangjang durumagi and a black *bokgeon. The girl, who had been known as Princess Gwiboon, approaching him slowly before sitting herself beside him. The clumsy boy realized it and turned his head to her.


“Hey, I see you’re staring at me and my toy, wanna play together?” He smiled softly, his eye-smile could be seen clearly on his face. It was the most adorable smile that Gwiboon had ever seen. She blushed and nodded silently.


“Great, let’s play then. Anyway, what’s your name?” He observed her with his brown eyes. She was small, way smaller than him, and she seemed to be pretty shy, but she was beautiful. Her long shiny black hair was tied into a long braid which was rolled into a ball shape above the nape of her neck. She wore a pretty little royal hanbok with a Dark Magenta *chima. Jinki concluded that It seemed like she was only eight years old.


“... Gwiboon.” She finally answered, her voice was almost inaudible. She glanced down because she was too shy to look at him.


He chuckled, she was really cute.


“Okay, It’s Gwiboon then. By the way, my name is Jinki. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He stretched his hand to her, giving her his wide smile. Gwiboon slowly took his hand. Her heart was pounding really fast, she felt her cheeks were slowly turning into red.


She admired him, she admired his attitude, his politeness, his smile, his clumsiness, everything about him. It was just a simple crush, at least in the beginning. And Since that time, Jinki always be the number one in Gwiboon’s heart.


Jinki and Gwiboon were playing happily, they didn’t realize that there were two couple of eyes watching them secretly. Those two man smiled proudly after watching the scene.


“I think it would work, they seem to like each other.” Jinki’s father, Emperor Lee said, a wide smile plastered on his face.


“I hope so. Gwiboon seems to like your son.” This time Gwiboon’s father, Emperor Kim, said calmly.


“So... When will we arrange the wedding?” Jinki’s father asked, couldn’t hide an excitement in his voice.


“We have to wait for several more years, Gwiboon is too young.”


“Nah, but they can grow together. I think-“


“No, we should wait, she’s not ready yet.” Gwiboon’s father replied with his cold tone. He eyed his dearest daughter from afar which was still playing happily,the innocent girl had no idea about something that was already prepared for her.
