C HARACTERS

Han Sumin

Quiet, but not mute. Cold, but not mean. Heartless, but not evil.
Orphaned at a young age, she was taken in by a man, claiming to be her foster father. Unlike other children, her 'foster father' never doted on her, neither did he torture her. Brought up to rely on solely herself, she grew up to be an independent young woman, but with a lot of secrets to hide.

Oh Sehun

A boy with big dreams. With the skills. With the talents.
The only thing he's lacking in? Family. Despite his parents being murdered brutally when he was younger, he never once showed his weak side nor make anyone worry. Together with his five other friends, he often participates in dance competitions to earn some extra cash. This year, he meets someone that he'll never expect that he would meet. And with secrets...comes the truth.

EXO-K

Consisting of Kim Jongin (also known as Kai), Do Kyungsoo (known as D.O), Kim Junmyun (known as Suho), Byun Baekhyun, Park Chanyeol and Sehun himself, these aspiring stars are often seen hanging out in their practice room, or performing in gigs, dancing for money....and passion.

Lee Ahreum

The only one who Sumin trusts enough to allow her to stay by her side.

And many, many more will be revealed along the way in the story.

P ROLOGUE

*, I'm late!* Grabbing the files and notes from the counter table, Sumin dashed out of her house and into the streets of Seoul. Apparently, she had woken up late for the forth time this week, and school was about to start. She pulled out her wallet frantically and checked the number of notes she had left in it. *There's no other choice, I'll have to take a cab.* She flagged down a cab, which pulled over immediately and got in, and the cab sped off into the busy roads.
