The Demon's Imagination
Description
He was a monster—a demon. A cruel, heartless creature: one that only knew pain, torture, and greed—he found humans to be the very essence of those things—and so, under a human guise, he lured the kingdom's princess away and cursed her. She fell under the demon's curse, and for eternity, she would sleep. He would be the guard; the creature that would slay any that came from another land other than his.
Foreword
The princess yawned, "Good morning."
He only waved back at her.
She pointed at the red substance covering the boy, "What happened last night?"
"I..." the boy paused for a moment, "I was just painting is all. Don't worry about it."
"You don't have to lie," she smiled. "It's fine if you protect me." And with that, he the blood off.
