Kyung Ah looked over her shoulder at the boy, her eyes wide as well, “Go back inside and play, baby. I’ll be there in a little, okay?” she replied as quietly and calmly as possible. Leeteuk’s eyes met with the child’s, noticing their lighter shade of brown than his mother’s; once the door closed, the little pair of eyes disappearing, his eyes met Kyung Ah’s again. She knew the question that lingered in them, but she didn’t want to answer it.

“The boy,” he said, unable to form a sentence. Leeteuk was too shocked to even say anything. Kyung Ah had a son, which meant she was probably married, and Leeteuk was intruding on a married woman’s life. He bit his lip, contemplating just leaving without further explanation.

“Park Jung Saeng,” Kyung Ah commented, stating the child’s name. “He’s four and a couple months.”  It didn’t click in Leeteuk’s mind at first and he stood in silence, nodding his head, acknowledging the child’s age. With that information, he could have easily concluded the obvious, but for some reason, he just couldn’t.
