Heys :) 

Yeps, I wrote another story, but this is actually my first totally completed story! And it's dedicated to one of my closest friends ever :D

Feb 6th is her birthday, and I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO S.M !!!!! 

Anyways, I'm hoping that everyone can not only support a preferred artist of artiste, but rather a story line itself! I'm saying this because I know that most of you guys would never have put Charlene Choi and Lee Hong Ki in the same sentence, as they seem totally unrelated, but they're both singers/actors that I love, and I really did think that they were suitable for these characters :) 

Hope you guys like this story! It is completed and will be a short story, being approximately 6 chapters in length, but may include alternative endings if anyone would like to read it :P 

~~~~~~ Forewords~~~~~~~

How come it seemed as if everything had changed?

Charlene wrapped her arms tightly around Hongki, just so that she could be sure he couldn't slip away. She had to make sure that Hongki couldn't leave her here all by herself, as she was before.

Seeing her hug him so tightly, and having her head laid upon his chest, Hongki felt an unnerving urge to wrap his arms much more tightly around her, but his arms raised halfway, and halted in mid air, then dropped. It would just make it harder to leave.

Ignoring the pain Hongki felt, and was sure Charlene had learned to take, he gently pushed her arms off of him and took a step back.

"I have to go to work," he whispered silently, more to himself than her. And he made his way to the door, disappearing as quickly as he could force himself to.

Why did it seem so much colder when she was no longer hugging him?

Charlene stood in stunned ache, why did he seem to drift farther and farther away from her these days?

Charlene Choi: 

"I know what pain is, and I understand what torture implies. I believe I've been through enough to say that I can stand strong on my own, but you arrived and I realized how lonely I've been. Now, your determination to isolate me, are you testing the limits of my understanding of the terms pain and torture? Cancer was no obstacle against your leaving; if you could just stay, I wouldn't mind going through it all over again." 

"I'm only human. I see that I persist pathetically, and that I enjoy hiding from my own pain, as well as the fact that, no matter what, my tears will be shed, where no other can witness it."

Lee Hong Ki: 

"I shed more tears for you than you would ever imagine. In fairytales, a prince is absolutely charming, but I am far from perfection. No matter how much I wish we could end happily ever after, I am flawed, and I am the cause of our seperation, the root of pain in our relationship. You tell me you love me, but I must be selfish for once, and push you away, because your pain hurts me far more than it hurts you, and I cannot let this destroy me, nor you, any longer." 

"You don't see my tears, do you?  You don't see my pain? You can't believe I would suddenly appear, but you would never guess my sudden departure. I am not worthy to be loved by you, yet you are nothing less of a necessity in my life. No matter how you look at it, or from any chosen angle, I look strong in nature, but you, you are my weakness." 

~~~~~~~ Hehe, I kind of wanted to describe my characters' personalities (or at least a little about them) through their own point of view, so if it seems confusing, I'm terribly sorry!~~~~~
