Description
Han Yoo Mi lives alone in an apartment, despite the fact she's only 18 and is still attending high school. Her parents live in America and every holiday she would fly over to see them. Yoo Mi wants to fit in just like everyone else, so she hides her family's fortune. Her mom is a famous fashion designer in New York, and her dad is a CEO at a top notch advertisement company. Although her parents are high class.... she's not... she's just your average teenager that likes to eat out on weekends and sing karaoke. Since she doesn't want to disappoint her parents, she decides to have Daesung, her best guy friend pretend to be her boyfriend when she visits her family. However, on the day they were suppose to board the plane, he ends up not showing up at the airport because his pet ferret suddenly died. In a “WHATTT-THE-HECK” mood, Yoo Mi decides to go without him... on the plane she ends up sitting next to Jonghyun... she thinks..... what if I had someone else pretend for me?
Foreword
Han Yoo Mi: Your average teenage high school girl who just wants to survive her last year. She isn't the smartest student at school, or the most athletic, or the prettiest. She's just....... Yoo Mi. despite those things, she has a bright personality that makes people attracted to her. She's never afraid to be herself or lose herself to help others. She doesn't like to think about the future and believes everything that happens has its reasons. Her family sees her as a hopeless romantic, and is afraid she might not ever marry since she has not had a boyfriend in her 18 years of living.
Kim Jonghyun: Coming from a rich family that spoils his only son, Jonghyun is arrogant, selfish, and stubborn. He claims he is the best at everything, but one thing he absolutely CANNOT do is lie. Since many people would expect him to be excellent at lying, he “pretends” to lie sometimes just to make him look... how you say.... cooler. He hates it whenever people make fun of him, but wants to be the center of attention 24/7.
Daesung: One if Yoo Mi's best friends and likes to make people laugh. His optimistic personality is like a star to Yoo Mi. They have been friends since elementary school and she knows she can always go to him whenever she's sad.
Eun Jung: Another one of Yoo Mi's best friends. She is caring and is always looking out for her. Unlike Yoo Mi, she has dated many guys before. She is smart and aces about every class and to top it of she is the president of the student council. Hardworking, she tries to motivate Yoo Mi to find her dream.
