this colour - means flashback -------- "Oh, Kwanghee-ya...here!" He entered the cafeteria, waving cheerfully at his friend in his usual 'Kwanghee manner' but toned down his exaggerated happy face and tensed as he walked past the food counter. His steps naturally fastened until he reached the table and seated himself down. He brushed off his hair in self-conscious, making the man seated before him laughed at his unnatural actions. "What's wrong with you? Did you ran away from schedule or what?" "Not funny." He frowned and tried to look angry. "Anyway, why are you alone here? That's weird." "Oh, Heechul left his phone in practice room so he went up to get it." "As expected. Don't tell me for the special showcase, you're performing with him too?" His voice cracked at the realization that he talked louder than he should, again. Not that he mind, but not here. He immediately covered his mouth in horror and looked around to make sure whether there were anyone looking at him. His eyes stopped wandering when he caught sight of her at the counter, beaming as she served one of the administration staff there. A single bead of sweat trickled down his face line. She was one of the reasons he always tried his best to be at the company as often as possible despite all his variety shows schedule. She was also the reason he started to developed even self-conscious on the way he carried himself. She was just average looking, he could find better looking girls roaming on the streets. She doesn't have big eyes or perfect skin, or skinny tall figure like any average female idols. But she was easy on the eyes - his eyes. And she was friendly towards him. Well, granted with his nature, everyone would be friendly to him, but she was friendly with him even when he acted indifferently around her. She was something different. He had noticed this the first day they met, some half a year ago when she started working at the cafeteria. "Ya! Are you listening or what?" He turned back to the dumbfounded Siwan who was staring at him with frown. 'Did he noticed?' "Kwanghee-ya..if you're that hungry, go take food at the counter. Why are you still sitting here?" 'He didn't. What a relief. Dense Siwan is dense.' "So, are you performing with him at the showcase?" "You mean, Heechul? Did you forgot? They picked the teams for us by random. I have to perform with Hyungsik. Pressure." "Why the pressure? It's not like you're less popular than Hyungsik now." "Well...but he's taller....no, let me correct that. He's the tallest." "And you're the shortest." He broke into his cackling again, and then again, catching on himself acting 'inappropriately' in front of her and instantly turned to the food counter again. She was busy arranging newly washed plates. Suddenly she looked up and smiled his way. Horrified that he was caught, he awkwardly looked back at Siwan. "You're hungry, I see,...just go take food." "Uhh, later." He felt pain in his stomach. Which is a normal thing he felt whenever he was nervous because of her. "So, who are you performing with at the special showcase stage?" "Mr. America. Kevin." He gave a half sneer. "America? You mean, Australia?" "Whatever." Siwan chuckled at his groupmate's rash talk. Though he did wonder the reason Kwanghee had been acting strange lately, and the reason he always seem bitter when talking about Kevin. As far as he could remember, there was no fight between those two, and Kevin is one of the most peaceful member he knew. Well, though he wasn't entirely sure of what happened while he was busy with his own solo schedules as an actor now. "Hey, Siwannie...can't we change our team mate? Let's be a team and let Hyungsikkie be with his Kevin oppa." "Uhh...no, we have already started practicing." "What song?" "We got Hunter. How about you guys?" "...Begin With Kiss. Ugh...how am I going to perform that song with Kevin?" "Well, it's not such a hard song, right?" "Well...no, but not with...never mind." He rolled his eyes in frustration. Again, Siwan wondered at the behaviour. But before Siwan could ask, another voice greeted them and placed his arms around his shoulders, breaking off his thoughts. "Hey, hyungs...waiting for me? Agh, I'm dying of hunger. Been practicing non-stop for the special stage since last night until this morning." "What?! You didn't even slept?!" "Well, I was in the practice room with Dongjun all night long. Did you expect me to sleep with him?" Heechul wiggled his eyebrows and Siwan looked away, pulling a long face. "What? Jealous already?" He playfully pulled Siwan's shoulders closer to himself. "Why should you be jealous of guys? It'd be more logical if you're jealous of girls? Do you think I'm gay?" His voice lowered to almost whisper near the end of his talk. "Of...of course you're not. Jealous? Me? Huh. You think I'm gay? Gimme a break. I'm going off to continue practice. Bye Kwanghee." He stood up to leave but Heechul already pulled his hand to prevent him leaving. His grasp was firm, making sure the other man wouldn't escape. "Siwan hyung, you haven't hear till I finish. Of course, I'm not gay...but I can become one for my boyfriend, think you can become gay for me? Or am I not handsome enough?" He pouted. Kwanghee watched the new lovebirds conversation before his eyes with disgusted expression until he felt he couldn't watch it any longer and shouted. "Ya! Eeew, you gays! Do you really have to say those yucky things in front of other people?" Siwan slowly released his hands, without looking back to Heechul, not wanting his red face to be seen by him and only said coldly, "I'll go get food for you." and ran towards the food counter. "Heechul-ah..." "I know what you're going to say. That we're so gay and our public display of love is disgusting. Kwanghee hyung, you're just jealous." "What?! I'm not...gay!" He cringed. It was strangely
