I have a confession to make..

 

He is not really my type. I know.. I know, it sounds weird to have a boyfriend who was out of your preference

 

He’s good looking and all… but he is definitely not my type. It is not because he was not good enough but he was the most flirtatious guy in the entire history of my high school. Aside from that, he bullies his hoobaes in our school

That’s the kind of guy he was.. so why did I ended up falling for him?

Why~ oh why?

 

The answer is I don’t really know..  He almost pulled out all my turn offs for a guy but to think of his positive traits, he is caring and protective. He is smart.. I don’t actually expect that but yes, he is.

 

Looks are deceiving, believe me! He acts like a little cute puppy in front of the teachers and to other people but actually, he is a devil that spreads his evilness on earth.So our story begins one hot Sunday afternoon, I was really dying to go out since it was the last day before the school starts.. Luckily my friend Mariel called and told me to come to the coffee shop down the block

 

I entered the coffee shop. There she is.. I mean there they are.. I wasn’t surprise that she brought guys with her. well, that’s the way she is but she was never get into a relationship with those guys. Or that’s what I thought.

“hey what’s up?”

“bored ako so tinawagan kita. Mag order ka na. My treat”

“who is he?” I eyed to the guy beside Mariel

“oh right, This is Kai”

“Hi my name’s kai. Nice to meet you”

“I’m Ella. Nice to meet you too”

“don’t you know that kai is also attending the same high school were transferring?”

“That’s cool”  -____-

 

“Isn’t it great we have someone who will tour us around, will that alright Kai?”

“no problem. I’ll be more willing to”

 

In some strange reasons I don’t like this guy. His face with that smirk annoys me so much. Where on earth did Mariel meet this person? And where are Mariel’s wits when she needs it right now, Does she even know that this guy is hitting on her?

 

 

“You look Chinese or something japanese”

Oh boy Nice try but that doesn’t work on me.

“Close enough, I’m half Korean ”

We talked for a while to brush the boredom and then we parted

 

That’s right I forgot to introduce myself.

 

 

I’m  Ella Kim, 17 year’s old, was born in Korea and I’m currently in Philippines. I was here for almost 5 years now.

Obviously I’m Filipino- Korean. I can speak both languages fluently. My Korean name is Kim Jae Shin, that explains my radio name ‘jae jae’.

I’ve been a Dj for almost 2 months now and I’m enjoying it but sadly I need to cut off my hobby for school. I was assign in the radio love sitcom ‘lovestruck’ where I play love songs and throws random advice to my listeners.

I have a step brother Lu Han, who is a Chinese. I know, my family tree is weird, since I am from a broken family. To think of it, Luhan is awesome step brother. At first we were distant from one another but then we kind of work it out and try to accept the fact that whether we like it or not we’re still brothers and sisters.

And that girl at the coffee shop is my twinnie, Mariel. She’s my bestfriend since forever.

We always stick together that’s why we call each other ‘twinnie’. We we’re in all-girls high school before but then there are a lot of gossip divas and ty es around. I want to transfer to co’ed school and since she is my other twin she needs to follow me ^_^

Now back to my current position, I was practically laying on the couch waiting for a gold bar to fall but instead of a gold bar a gigantic piro-piro was thrown at my face

“what the-“  My pissed off face faded as I saw the person next to me

“GEGE!!!!” yea that’s right my voice was like a mega phone that burst in the entire living room.

“Why? What-? H-How?” okay ella contain yourself.. breathe..

It’s just Luhan. But No! It’s LUHAN MY GEGE. OMG WHY IS HE HERE?

‘Seriously! ella, he is laughing at you right now’. I keep punching his chest as I sob “why the heck you came so late” *face palm* I just can’t contain my emotions okay? This guys is such a jerk that went to china by himself

“okay I get it, you miss me so much But I wasn’t the only one who came” Luhan pointed at the door

Oh yeah? Who else? My eyes almost popped out of the sockets when I saw Chanyeol and D.O at the door frame

I just ran and jump to their arms in my excitement. i have quite exaggerated reactions but for all I care. I never seen these guys for the past 5 years so that pays all the days that they were not with me.

D.O held some shopping bags in front of him “Your presents” he smiled and I lightly punched his arm 

We sit on the couch together and chatted a bit

“I heard my name last night in the radio huh?” Luhan laugh

“yea we heard that too” D.O and Chanyeol chuckled

Geez. Why do they need to put that up? I mean It’s not like it’s a big dead, Isn’t it?

“I bet ya’ll tired, I’ll make something for you guys”

“We’re okay Jae, we just need a help on something” Luhan said

After some moments of endless talking I agree to help them with their school application. Yes, they are transferring to my school. That makes me guarded by three over protected flower boys and that also means no boyfriend for me. TT.TT *sigh* what a sad life I have..

“Are you saying something Jae?”I jolt up as Chanyeol’s deep voices brought me back to reality

“Yes? I mean no. Nothing”  Geez. Why do you always embarrass yourself in front of your oppas! WAE?

“Call me when you need something, arraseo?” they all nodded seem to be absorbed in the playstation

 

The next morning, I woke up earlier than I use to thanks to Chanyeol who keeps jumping on my bed.

Suddenly by phone vibrated.. it’s a call from mariel

“Bat di mo sinabi sakin na andyan si Luhan gege! Ahh alam ko na~ hindi mo sinabi saakin just have Luhan by yourself,tama?” she was practically screaming on the other line that I have to hold back the phone and cup the speakers.

“Twinnie? Can you tone down?. If you want to see lulu, come here but don’t disturb his beauty sleep” oh well, he’s name means Morning deer but sit doesn’t actually justify his personality. It’s ironic because he’s a heavy sleeper and wakes up at noon.

As fast as the lighting, there goes our doorbell ringing. D.O opened the door and meets his mortal enemy on her cute uniform get up. Dun..dun..dun..

Surprisingly, no harsh comments were thrown to each other. WOW, 5 years without seeing each other made so much difference after all

“You didn’t tell me that D.O and Chanyeol were here” she whispered

“You’re too busy screaming your lungs out and pestering me about my brother” I rolled my eyes to her.

“anyways, your prince charming will be up soon”

“I’ll make something for breakfast” D.O excuse himself to the kitchen

“I’ll help” Chanyeol followed

“Goodmorning” Luhan yawn and warily walk down through the stare case

“Wow you wake up earlier than we expected”

“We? Oh Hi mariel”  

“hey Lulu”

I.Can.Tell.. Mariel is now spazzing on the inside. She keeps a poker face but she is failing miserably. Oh dear, she is blushing like a plump tomato

“Breakfast is ready!” D.O called out

It was rather loud that my usual quiet breakfast. Since Luhan, chanyeol and D.O arrive. I’m guessing that Mariel will come more often because of my brother.

After breakfast we all get ready for school. Mariel literally drop her jaw in the sight of my brother. This girl is really head over heels with my gege. D.O’s uniform fit him right while Chanyeol’s pants are a bit short.

We arrive in our new school the CDD international high school. There’s a lot of Koreans, Chinese and Japanese in this school since it is an international school but then I should have teach these guys  a bit of tagalog since they are staying here in Philippines for quite a while.

“I can’t find kai everywhere” Mariel pouted

“Stop looking for him. For sure nakalimutan ka na niya”

. It was sad since none D.O and Mariel are together in the room next to mine and Chanyeol’s is right across the hallway.

As I turn around I knocked on someone “owww” “next time tumabi ka dinadaanan! Dum dum”

“Ella?” he said

“who are you?”

“Hey, It’s me Kai”

Bloody hell? Sa lahat ng taong magiging classmate Siya pa? -.-
