Baekhyun sits in the table alone, is lunch time but his not worried about eating “hey” kyungsoo says as he sits in the table. Baekhyun doesn’t greet the poor tired boy “what are you doing?” Baekhyun looks at Kyungsoo

“my teacher wants the class to write a legend, and I don’t know what to write” even though Kyungsoo is tired he decided to help Baekhyun “mm…why don’t you write about the house that is in the main street?” Baekhyun rolls his eyes

“Kyungsoo, all those stories about that house are fake, and if I write about that my teacher and my classmates would laugh at me” Kyungsoo doesn’t want to argue “whatever, by the way those stories are true! Theres someone in that house!”

Baekhyun is about to say something, but he decides to keep it in “hey guys” Suho sits down with a tray full of food “I was dying!” Suho takes a bite of his hamburger, his poor cheeks where full of food making Baekhyun feel sick

“please Suho, small bites” Suho looks at Baekhyun and Kyungsoo, not really sure what Baekhyun is trying to say

“oh Suho, you are really good with stories you maybe be able to help Baekhyun” Baekhyun looks at Suho with hopeful eyes “I think I have one” Baekhyun takes his notebook out and a pen “okay im ready” Suho smiles

“a legend about the two lovers” Baekhyun sighs “aish I don’t want to write about a cheesy love story” Baekhyun throws his pen, not so far but not so close to his notebook

“oh come on Baekhyun hear the story first” everyone can tell that Kyungsoo wants to hear the story maybe even Baekhyun deep inside “fine, Suho continue”

long time ago…

Kris and Chanyeol are sitting in the livingroom, waiting to hear their names being call “Kris lets move” Chanyeol looking down not wanting to meet his lovers eyes “come on Chanyeol you know we cant do that” Kris with his deep voice says making his lover even more mad

“why not?” Chanyeol stands up “Chanyeol calm down” Kris still sitting down in the couch, in the same place he has been since this morning

“okay why was Chanyeol fighting?” Baekhyun broke the story making Kyungsoo sigh “well let me get there” Suho says

“because this is the place where I imagine living our lives together!” Chanyeol calms down alittle, but his still worry

“we would be calling the names now” Kris turns up the volume of the radio “the following names would go tomorrow morning, to the main plaza. soldiers would be waiting for you” the voice of the person from the radio sounds tire and old, also his voice sounds scare, Chanyeol knows it does.

“Kim Sunggyu, Choi Jonghun, Kim Jongin, Oh Sehun…”

Chanyeol knows half of those people, he cant take it anymore so he goes to the kitchen. But he can still hear the radio, perfectly

“…Huang Zitao, Kim Minseok, Zhang Yixing…”

Names after names, and Chanyeol is getting more nervous but shouldn’t he get happy though? I mean how many people are they willing to take?

“…Kim Jongdae and Wu Fan” Chanyeol freezes, did he heard right? or was his brain playing tricks on him? It has to be, is just not possible.

Kris walks to the kitchen, slowly. Not sure if he wants to see Chanyeol right now, he just doesn’t want to see that pretty face of him, sad or with tears

“chanyeol?” Kris whispers as he sees Chanyeol, slowly with a blank look Chanyeol turns to see him “no” Chanyeol replies whispering too, tears didn’t take long to fill his eyes. Kris knows he couldn’t leave, who would take care of Chanyeol?

“is okay, Chanyeol” Kris hugs Chanyeol rubbing his hand in Chanyeol’s back.

“oh my what happened?” Baekhyun is way into the story “I thought you didn’t want to write a cheesy legend?” Suho mocks Baekhyun, making Kyungsoo laugh “oh please, just tell me the ending” Baekhyun pouts

The next day, Chanyeol couldn’t get up from his bed. He look like a person who was waiting for death to come “Chanyeol im leaving” Kris leads so he can be face to face to his lover “don’t go” Chanyeol says which it sounds like a whisper, but his voice was gone. Last night he was crying and screaming, begging Kris not to go.

“I make you a promise, I promise you to come back to you” Kris grabs Chanyeol hand “no, dont say those words. People make promises just to end the conversation” Kris silently chuckles “don’t be silly” Kris caress Chanyeol cheek “I will come back, wait for me”

Kris kisses Chanyeol, making it slow so he would remember this kiss. Forever

“oh wait, please tell me this legend has a happy ending” Baekhyun interrupts Suho again “oh come on, don’t spoil the story” Baekhyun shakes his head “no, no im not gonna write a sad story” Baekhyun closes his notebook and puts it inside his bag pack

“well is a sad ending depends on how you see it” Kyungsoo puts his index finger in his cheek “I think that their love survive” Baekhyun looks at Kyungsoo “really? So no sad ending?” Suho laughs silently to himself, not wanting Baekhyun to hear him.

“okay then Suho continue”

Every morning Chanyeol would get up and sit down in the couch, waiting for news or for Kris. But like everyday nothing would happen. Chanyeol didn’t know what to do with himself.

But even when he probably looks like a sick person or like a zombie, his still waiting. Nothing is going to change that.

“oh my please tell me he didn’t die like that?” Baekhyun again opens his mouth, making Kyungsoo throw him a piece of bread “okay that’s disgusting”

One day a telegram came:

Dear, Chanyeol im coming home can you wait for me by the lighthouse.

The hope that Chanyeol was losing came back. Because the love of his life was coming back.

Every morning Chanyeol would get up and go to the lighthouse, waiting for his lover. A lover that never came back

But no matter how many days or months would pass, Chanyeol would still walk every morning to the lighthouse and stand in the same spot.

The towns people, would see Chanyeol how weak and pale he was staring to look. Even they try to stop him, telling him to give up. to move on.

But he would always repeat the same thing ‘he promise he would return’

“please tell me that’s not how the story ends!” Baekhyun gets up from his sit “please Suho, please” Baekhyun stands next to Suho almost begging

“you know that phrase I have died everyday waiting for you Darlin' don't be afraid I have loved you for a Thousand years I'll love you for a Thousand more?” Baekhyun thinks for a moment but nods in the end

“where you think it came from?”

Years pass by, and now Chanyeol is old. Years have taking over his face, and heath. Even in his last breath he was still waiting for his lover.

Baekhyun trying so hard not to cry “you lie to me Kyungsoo! You said it had a happy ending!” Baekhyun points to Kyungsoo, making everyone in the cafeteria look at them

“calm down Baekhyun” Kyungsoo didn’t like this kind of attention “but no, I cant…he waited for him” Suho puts his hand in Baekhyun shoulder “calm down is just a legend!”

Baekhyun is trying so hard to calm down, is true is just a legend why is he like this? Plus he didn’t know Chanyeol or Kris. Why does it hurt him?

The bell rings and is time to go to class again, Baekhyun is feeling alittle depress but he tries to ignore it

“hey Baekhyun, the rest of  the legend says if you go and you sing those words Chanyeol appears with Kris holding hands” Kyungsoo whispers in Baekhyun ear.

Baekhyun wasn’t sure to believe Kyungsoo, but deep inside he knows he wants to see those two lovers happy. In a way

After school, Baekhyun is walking by himself.

With his head down, he was having a fight with himself. If he goes and sings that song, and nothing happens? He would only look stupid. But if he goes and something does happen? he would calm down this poor heart of his.

Baekhyun stops, and looks at the street. If he goes to his left, he would be home in no time. But if he continues to walk straight he would be in the lighthouse.

“just do it!” Baekhyun says to himself.

In no time Baekhyun is infront of the lighthouse. He smiles and continues to walk

when two people love each other they should be together. With no tragedies, just love. The greatest love story Romeo and Juliet ends in tragedy, why? Wasn’t it their love strong? Then why everytime you think of Romeo and Juliet tears start to form in your eyes?

Baekhyun stops in a spot that he thinks Chanyeol was waiting “It has the perfect view to the ocean, this has to be the spot” Baekhyun closes his eyes and begins to sing

“I have died everyday waiting for you Darlin' don't be afraid I have loved you for a Thousand years I'll love you for a Thousand more”

Baekhyun opens his eyes, and nothing happen “I feel so stupid! Aish” Baekhyun walks away and as he is leaving the lighthouse he hears a voice repeating those exact words.

Baekhyun turns around, and Chanyeol appears. Baekhyun cant believe his eyes, then other figure appears, and it was Chanyeol lover.

The air turns cold, and Baekhyun should go home and forget that he has seen ghost. But the view was lovely, two lovers that are together and time couldn’t keep them apart.

Chanyeol holds Kris hand and that’s when the two figures disappear.

Thousand years is two short.
