No One's POV

"That concludes the deal."

I bit my lip in nervousness and defeat as the man slid back the stack of papers and tucked them in his briefcase.  We stood up and bowed as the official bid farewell and disappeared behind the Bijasal doors.  The people sat back down.  I looked down at my clasped hands.  They were white with fear.

“It’s going to be alright, Rimae-ah.”  My mother reached over a hand to cover mine.  I looked up.  She gave me a small smile.  I tentatively smiled back.  But when my eyes looked across and met his cold gaze, I felt all the certainty from earlier drain from my body.

I didn’t dare look or talk to anyone until all of us have exited the building.  I exhaled a tiny sigh of regret.  I felt suffocated.  I was trapped, into a future life I didn’t want.  Then my mother had to ruin it further by announcing to leave the newlywed couple in peace and get to know each other better.

My eyes widened in horror as I stood helplessly while she and father with my new in-laws returned to the building, leaving only me and him on the streets.  Every molecule in my body froze when I saw him walk next to me. 

“C’mon.” He said in a calm voice and gently took my hand to guide us to a nearby café.  I could not speak.  I could only feel my body being tugged and the sudden warmth emitted from his hand wrapping around mine. 

My face was still awestruck as we sat down facing each other.  A waitress came over and he quickly ordered two hot chocolates.  I stared at him.  How did he know my favourite drink? 

But I suddenly realized that it was rude to stare, so my eyes quickly looked down at my lap.  None of us spoke for a while, and I felt uneasy under such a tense atmosphere. 

“I believe I didn’t properly introduce myself earlier, Jang Rimae-sshi.”

His voice jolted me from my staring match with the dirty tiles on the floor.  I slowly rose my head up to meet his gaze.  Then my heart pinged in shock.  His eyes no longer looked hostile, his expression no longer cold. 

That was when I first analyzed his face: deep brown eyes, sharp and refined masculine features, and a small smile that grew on his lips.  I averted my eyes when he caught me stare for a little too long.  I blushed.  He was very handsome.  He spoke, and his tone caught me off guard by the amount of sincerity within.

“It’s nice to meet you.  I’m Yong Junhyung, your future husband.”      

Cast

-Jang RiMae (19 years old)

Sophomore at Dongshin University, lives a double life of being a student and newlywed wife of eight months.  Only child from a well-established family, really quiet and shy towards people she doesn’t know, which would be most of them.  Only shows her fun side to close friends and relatives.  Usually introduced as Hyunseung’s cousin to avoid any suspicions.   Hardworking and very capable of doing many things, except taking over her family business. 

-Yong Junhyung (24 years old)

Alias: Joker

Part-time lecturer and English professor at Dongshin University.  Skipped a couple of grades during his school years and finished his degrees early.  Lazy, but brilliantly smart.  Married to Jang Rimae, but keeps their relationship a secret.  Like Rimae, his background is well-off.   Nerdy and plain appearance by day, total bad boy looks at night.  Calm and collected, seems to have a very cold attitude but in reality, silly and really cares for Rimae.  Has a tendency to nag his wife all the time, which makes her slightly irritated.   Works as a choreographer during his spare time with his group known as BEAST.

-Yoon Doojoon (24 years old)

Alias: Leader

Junhyung’s colleague and close friend at Dongshin University, works as a part-time gym instructor.  Knows about the marriage but keeps quiet about it and watches out for Rimae.  Leader of the group BEAST, which he works during his spare time.

-Jang Hyunseung (24 years old)

Alias: Rancho

Rimae’s cousin and close family friend, very protective of her.  Works in the family business, but also owns a dance studio.  Additionally, a member of BEAST, as one of the lead choreographers. 

-Yang Yoseob (23 years old)

Alias: YangYo

Doojoon’s neighbour who owns a small café.  Quite popular with the ladies due to his cute and baby-ish looks.  Doesn’t know about Rimae and Junhyung’s marriage.  Member of BEAST.

-Lee Kikwang (22 years old)

Alias: AJ

Hyunseung’s best friend who works with him at his dance studio.  Doesn’t know about Rimae and Junhyung’s marriage.  Member and one of the lead choreographers for BEAST.

-Son Dongwoon (21 years old)

Alias: Maknae

Senior at Dongshin University, also Rimae’s sunbae by two years.  Looks out for her like an older brother.  Preparing to graduate in four months.   Doesn’t know about Rimae and Junhyung’s marriage.  Member of BEAST and is good friends with all of them.  Helps out part-time at Yoseob’s café, and is also adored by the ladies due to his handsome Western looks.  

-BEAST

A team of six males that are the masterminds behind some of the most popular song choreographies from idol groups.  Not much is known about the members or the group in general, as they decline personal interviews from the media and go by their false identities.  However, the team is well-known for their good friendships, sharp dance moves and abilities to create choreography that will literally blow up the stage.
