Baekhyun:When he encounters you at a fan meet, and wants to see you

again. [Part 1 ]

 

“We are One! Hello, we are Exo!” The whole entire room went wild. You stood there, hands shaking, a lump growing in your throat. This would be the first time you’d be meeting Exo-K… Though you wished it was Exo-M as well, but they were too busy in China promoting to comeback. It was a fan meet, and your friend was lucky enough to get you in last minute.

“Ah! I can’t wait!” She screamed before you nodded. “Yah, why do you look so nervous?”

“It’s my first time meeting them…” Your friend laughs before she puts her arm around your shoulder.

“Yah, they’re not actually going to remember us.” It was the cold hard truth. But she was right. I nodded again before she squealed like the Exotic she was. “Ah! I can’t believe I’m finally going to meet Kai… Ah!” If your friend loved anything more than life itself, it was Kai. Heck, she loved him maybe even more than she loved you as a friend.

“Yah, we’d be lucky if they end up signing anything.” You mumble to your friend. “We're Dead last.” You look up ahead, but all you can see are rows of heads. Tons and tons of hair covered heads. You sighed and leaned against your friend. “Yah…” You whined. “What if they grow too tired…?”

“You pessimist..” Your friend smacks you on the arm jokingly.

You swear you made eye contact with one of them. You couldn’t tell who it was exactly, but he was looking right at you. Even though there were fans asking him to sign things, he was staring… right at you.

 

An hour had already passed and you thought you were going to fall asleep in line until finally your friend screamed. You almost felt like you’d gone deaf as she went up to Chanyeol first. He smiled at her enthusiasm before signing her CD album. She continued to go through each of the members. You knew she had finally reached Kai when her fangirling level shot through the rough.

“A-Annyeong.” You smile at Chanyeol before he smiles back at you. He didn’t say much but signed your CD album. Next was D.O. You greet him as well before he signs your CD. Then it was the maknae. You greet him as well as he looks up at you and mouths:

“Noona?” You feel your face turn slightly red before nodding. You saw a grin spread across his face before you approached Kai. You felt a grin spreading on your own face before he signed it.

“Your friend earlier…” He mumbled quietly before you laughed.

“Y-Yeah, she’s a huge fan of yours…” He laughs with you before sending your album along to Suho. You greet him as he smiles back at you. He doesn’t say anything until it finally reaches the last member, Byun Baekhyun.

“Annyeong.” You say to him as he doesn’t look up. He must have been really tired, you thought to yourself before smiling anyways. “Baekhyun-oppa, hwaiting…” You whisper quietly as he suddenly looks up at you. Honestly you felt your heart skip a beat. What kind of guy looks better in guyliner than without it? That’s right, Baekhyun does. Your quickly cover your mouth, not expecting that to escape your lips. “A-Ah, I mean-”

“Did you call me oppa?” He grinned at you before you turned a bright red. “Don’t be embarrassed…”

“Y-Yeah… Sorry.” You smile and laugh nervously.

“Don’t be sorry.” He shook his head and continued to write on your album. You peer over and it looks as if he’s writing a god damn paragraph. All the members begin peering over to look at Baekhyun. After all, I was the last fan. After this they could all relax.

“Y-Yah, what are you writing?” Sehun peers over curiously before Baekhyun places his hand over his writing and grins back at him.

“Just writing a cute note to your noona.” Your face turned a bright shade of red. You felt like dying of embarrassment now… So he had watched Sehun sign your album, and had watched Sehun mouth:noona? To you. “What’s your name?” He asks you as you look at him confused.

“H-Huh?”

“Your name is ‘h-huh’?” He teased you before grinning.

“No. My name is _____.”

“That’s a pretty name.” It took you while until you realized he was flirting with you. Exo’s Byun Baekhyun was flirting with you.

“H-Hyung..” Chanyeol called from the other end of the table. “Are you done?” Baekhyun laughed and tilted his heat cutely at you.

“Yah, you’re cute.” You were even more confused at this point.

“M-Me?”

“Y-You.” He stuttered, teasing you again before you narrowed your eyes at him. You pressed your lips to a thin line before he grinned at you. “I’m kidding. ______-sshi, would you like to stay behind after the fan meet?”

“I’m the only one left. I’ve been staying behind for a while now.” You answered honestly before you hear the rest of the members laugh quietly.

“Right. So what do you think? Should we meet again?” Your heart began racing before you reached out to take back your CD album. Your heart was fluttering so fast… You just had no idea anymore. Was he joking?

“Yah… You’re not serious are you?” You ask him quietly as he nods.

“Yeah, I am.”

“Really?” Baekhyun shakes his head and laughs.

“Yah, I’m serious.” The rest of s remain utterly silent now.

“Baekhyun…” Suho quickly calls him out. “You’re not supposed to be doing these types of things. We’re at a fan meet. Come on..”

“Hyung, I can’t help it.” Baekhyun answers and elbows Suho gently in the arm. “She’s my type.” You feel your knees begin to grow weak. B-Byun Baekhyun's.. Type? His ideal girl?

“Yah, I’m not special.” Great job! Baekhyun just admited you’re his type! Why'd you have to go ahead and say something like that? Stupid. Stupid.

“Well, I think you are. How about you say we meet again in like an hour or so?” Baekhyun asked as you looked away and began to slowly shake your head. “No?”

“I-I don’t know about this…”

“Yah, hyung, you’re not serious are you?” Kai quickly leans over the table to look at Baekhyun. Baekhyun once again nods. “Yah-”

“I’m so serious… ______-sshi is my ideal type. That’s why I’d like to see her again. What do you say? Please?” He puts his hand together before you really feel the blood rush to your face. “A-Ah, you’re blushing. So that’s a yes?” Baekhyun stands quickly and takes your hand in his.

“Y-Yah, I-”

“Say it once more.”

“Huh?” You look at him, even more confused than before. He laughs before he hands you the CD album.

“Say ‘oppa, hwaiting’, once more to me.” Baekhyun grins. “Oh first, give me your cell phone number.” He pulls out his phone as you quickly begin backing away.

“I-I don’t-”

“Y-Yah… Hyung…” D.O begins quietly. “Stop pressuring the poor fan…”

“I’m just a little confused is all. B-Baekhyun-oppa, you really-” He laughs and covers his lower face with his hand.

“Wah… ‘Baekhyun-oppa’… It sounds so cute coming out of your mouth, ______-sshi!” Without even looking at him now, you fist your pants and look to the floor. You quickly mumble out your cell phone number as Baekhyun continues to laugh as he holds his phone up to show you. “Your number?”

“Y-Yeah. Now can I go?” You ask. Otherwise you were sure your face would blow up like a bomb. It was way too red already! He nods as you hear your cellphone make a ping noise.

“I texted you.” He says before you nod and quickly run out of the room.

“Baekhyun…” Suho shakes his head before Baekhyun grins at the phone.

“What? She was cute… My heart immediately began pounding at the sound of her voice. After all these fans, she’s the only one who seemed remotely interesting.”

“I think she was my noona first…” Sehun said to him before Baekhyun laughed. “______-noona. I like the sound of that.” Baekhyun put both his hands behind his head as Kai ran beside him.

“Yah, hyung… you’re really going to go see her later?” Baekhyun nodded.

“I want to see her again.”

“_____!” Your friend shouts your name. “Why is your face so red again?!” You touch your face fast as you explain the whole Baekhyun thing to her. “Wh-What?! Really?!”

“Y-Yeah. I was so embarrassed…” You mumbled to her before you take your cell phone and run quickly away from your friend to make a brief call.

“Hello?” His smooth voice made your heart thump rapidly again.

“Hi…” You mumbled as you heard him chuckle on the other end of the line.

“______-sshi… Calling so soon?”

“I-I forgot…”

“Hm?” He mumbled across the phone. You mustered all your strength and quickly said:

“Byun Baekhyun oppa! Hwaiting!” You suddenly hear laughing at the other end.

“W-Wah, so suddenly. But I have something sudden I want to tell you too. Is it possible for me to say I like ______-sshi? Or would that make your face even redder?”

“What?”

“I like ______-ah.” He quickly says into the phone. “So you’ll take me up on my offer to meet again, right?”

“U-Um, yeah.” Oh god, your blood was just circulating just a little too well today.

“Yah, Your face is turning a bright red again. Should I take that as another yes?” You realize that he’s watching you as you look around quickly to find him. You realize he’s standing by the window of the building where the fan meeting was held. “I’m not lying to you, _______-ah.”

You gulp at what he’s going to say next…

“I really do think I’ve got a small crush on you. So let’s meet up again in an hour, arasso?..”
