Author’s Note

It will be in your form. Since the main character is “You.” [: I've never done a one shot before so sorry if it's not that good :p

Breathe in, breathe out, I told myself. I did so one more time before opening the door to enter the restaurant.  Doojoon’s birthday is today, I reminded myself. I can’t be inconsiderate and just think of myself… Even if THAT person does come. I haven’t seen him in awhile. I wonder how he is now, I smiled. I looked around hoping I’d spot someone familiar.

“You decided to come after all!” it was Doojoon standing up waving his arms frantically.

I laughed at the sight,

“Yah, you think low of me. I’m your friend after all!”

I walked over to him and gave him a hug

“Is that my only gift?” he joked as we sat down together,

“It’s actually in my car, I’ll get it to you somehow,” I replied.

I noticed he was just by himself.

“They’re all in the restroom,” he said as if reading my mind. They? I thought.

“So who are they?” I asked,

“You know who, Yoseob, Kikwang, Hyunseung, Dongwoon and yeah..” his voice faded away after saying “and.”

I already knew why.

“So I’m the only girl today?”

“Ah, about that. Hyuna, Seohyun, Gayoon, and JiEun are coming too.”

My heart sank at the mention of a certain person’s name but I was glad that JiEun was coming. In a way, me and JiEun were similar compared to the other girls that hanged around Doojoon and the boys. Those were the days. The days we were all somehow paired up with someone. Sadly, my fairytale with that someone ended soon. My train of thought was broken as JiEun chirpily greeted us,

“Omo! Unnie! I miss you,” she exclaimed and gave me a squeeze.

“It’s MY birthday,” Doojoon coughed and so JiEun gave him a friendly hug

“Your yeobo is taking too long in the restroom,” he said after,

“Why did they all go together?” asked JiEun as she sat next to me,

“I don’t know. Why do you girls go together?”

“That’s a good question,” I slightly laughed.

The boys finally came back except for two, Yoseob and Junhyung.

“There’s your yeobo,” stated Dongwoon as JiEun got up to greet him.

A smile formed on Yoseob’s face as they hugged. He gave her a kiss on the cheeks and sat by her. I did not move an inch from my spot next to Doojoon.

“Junhyung, sit down already,” said Kikwang who was sitting across Doojoon.
