Today we will be making a poster, similar to my "PEACOCK" one. Why? Because I noticed some of your requests, to make a tutorial. So here it is! You can change some of the parts, if you can't understand me. Please, send me your attempts! Write all questions in the comments below.
Sorry for my English mistakes and etc. This is my first tutorial, so please don't bash me. ^^
What will you need here?
My favorite ulzzang - Jang Hae Byeol .jpg1 .jpg2
Background texture pack here (_nee_texture_5.png)
PNG packs pack (01.png, 07.png) pack2 (041301.png)
PNG pictures doors horse poppy
For your text font1 font2 (from tokkiberry.com)
Others - PSDcoloring1 PSDcoloring2
FIRST STEP;
Open the background texture and press C.
Now you're using the crop tool. You should
be seeing a little table above. Write 500 on
width, and 600 on heigh. Now select some
random part of that texture and crop it.
Congratulations, you have a background!
Now take Jang Hae Byeol's pictures (.jpg1
and .jpg2). Resize the first one into 400x518
and the second one into 350x325. Put these
two pictures on the background and crop them
carefully. I used Lasso tool (press L) and then
Eraser tool (press E). After you do it, it should
be a little something like the given example on
the left.
SECOND STEP;
Put the smaller picture a little bit higher and
erase some .jpg1 parts (like on the given
example). That was not hard, wasn't it?
THIRD STEP;
This time we will be using PNG pictures. You'll need to
resize them sometimes. Do it by yourself. Open 01.png
and put it behind our used girl. Now take the 07.png and
add it a bit higher. You can now add the 041301.png on the
left. What's left? Open the poppy, horse and doors. Add it
behind the ulzzang too. You can use free transform (CTRL+T)
and rotate some of the photos. It looks a little bit pretier.
FOURTH STEP;
It's time for colors changing. It looks ugly now, isn't it? So
open the PSDcoloring1 and press CTRL+T. Scale it all over
the poster. Now do the same thing with the second PSD coloring.
I'd recommend to download Topaz DeNoise5 (if you have it, choose
"lighter"). I doesn't change much, so if you don't have it, then ignore
that.
Now back to making. Go to Filter»Sharpen»Smart sharpen. Amount
should be 50. Here you go, better quality poster!
FIFTH STEP;
We're near the end, guys! The first line should be
written with font1. Now look at the "LAYER" part and
press the right mouse button. Choose "Blending
options" and mark Drop shadow. Make everything like
that - Distance 3, Spread 3, Size 1. Now mark Gradient
Overlay and press on that black-white colored bar. Press
on that little black box. A little dot should appear in the
middle of the bar. I can't explain everything, so I'll show
you my screenshot. Make everything similar to this. How
was it? I hope it looks good on your own poster!
Now the second line should be written with font2. Open
the same Blending options table and mark the Drop shadow.
Make it Distance 3, Spread 3 and Size 3. Everything should be
3. Is it clear for you? Yes? Then good! Now Gradient overlay
should be similar as the last time, but make the Blend mode -
Lighten and Opacity 30%. Oh, now goes the hardest part...
Use your own patter, because I don't know how to upload
and publish it. Try to make it something like here.
