“We are ONE! Hello! We are EXO!” Simultaneously bowing at a ninety degree angle, the twelve members of the group introduced themselves to the media sources which began to take pictures of them.

The amount of people in the area was incredible and it was amazing that the rookie group was able to conjure so many fans within a simple few months of promotion. Then again, these young men were talented beyond return and also had lovable personalities.

Who couldn’t fall in love with them?

You giggle to yourself as you found that you could answer the question yourself.

Off to the sidelines and separated from the crowd of mixed people, you concentrated on the boys that were on stage and couldn’t help but feel a bit proud of them. You were, in fact, friends with the famous EXO and, in particular, a special friend of one of the members.

Despite having the blessing of actually knowing EXO, you knew you shouldn’t bring attention to yourself and, quite frankly, you were happy just being able to be close to them.

Your gaze then began to concentrate on one of the shorter members, but he was the member who was, arguably, one of the mood makers of the group, your boyfriend, Baek Hyun.

It seemed like just yesterday that you and EXO were having a little barbeque in their trainee days, having the time of your lives. Suddenly, you were being pulled off to the side as Baek Hyun decided to grab your wrist and drag you off from the rest of the boys. You immediately blushed because he was a long time crush of yours since the very first day you met him.

Talk about love at first sight!

Everyone had known about your love interest and the aliens, especially Chan Yeol, liked to tease you about it, getting you a few close calls when they would holler, “Minah and Baek Hyun sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!”

Now, that Baek Hyun had personally dragged you away from the group, leaving just the two of you, you could hear a few chuckles and a wolf whistle to which your blush worsened so that you now looked like the ripest tomato anyone could find.

The atmosphere was a bit awkward – well you were the one who made it awkward since you simply just stood there while Baekhyun was trying to start a conversation. It was only after a few failed attempts at conversation starting that Baek Hyun finally got to the point and confessed his feelings to you.

You, of course, were shocked beyond comprehension, but, your heart instantly fluttered hearing his words. You were still as stiff as a board, but it was only until Baek Hyun had placed his soft lips on yours and gave you his sweet smile that you finally loosened up and were able to reply back – of course, saying “Yes!” to his question of “Would you be my girlfriend?”

And, of course, cue in clapping and cheering from the mischievous boys who were watching on the sidelines.

Though the kiss indeed played a big part in snapping you out of your trance, what really sealed the deal was Baek Hyun’s eye smile, which was what had really caused you to fall in love with him, first.

Now, a year later, you were still together and as happy as ever.

You looked upwards, once again, to look at Baek Hyun – somewhere deep inside of you, you were trying to get his attention, though your rational mind told you, otherwise.

You sighed in defeat as he seemed to be too immersed in giving his attention to the media outlets that stood in front of him. About to turn away, you heard, “I really want to thank all the people who were there to support me, especially those, during my trainee days, who made me truly happy and smile. I hope I’ll be able to keep these people in my life,”

Hearing his smooth voice, you lifted your head, once again, to see Baek Hyun returning your gaze. You could tell that, though the message seemed general, it was probably directed towards you as your boyfriend immediately looked to you after the statement.

Butterflies began to rage in your stomach as he gave you one of his sweet eye smiles.

You couldn’t help but smile back.
