Jealousy
Fallen
“Jealousy was for little girls, and she knew she wasn’t one.”
It wasn’t that she hated her. To be honest, she loved the girl like her own sister, but she didn’t know why she felt like this. She was definitely not jealous. Yes, that’s it. Tiffany Hwang wasn’t a jealous person by nature….
But she is.
The way he looks at the girl and how he sneakily glances towards her had her running up a tree. Not literally, but you got the point. It pained her for him to be looking at another. And no, she is in no way jealous.
How can she be when the girl is the best thing she have ever got? Seohyun was the greatest, sweetest, most adorable person on earth. It was insane to think that no one would be attracted to the girl. And that was the point. Nobody would be stupid enough to not like Seohyun. Even him.
Luhan.
The perfect man with his oh-so-perfect hair and his dashing shy smile. He made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with her. And Tiffany didn’t know why she was so fatally attracted to him. Maybe it was due to her dreams. Maybe it wasn’t. It was just simple like that. Love.
But to love and to be jealous? That was an undesirable situation. Jealousy was for little girls, and she knew she wasn’t one. Perhaps envious was the word. To envy Seohyun because of the secret stares she has been receiving. And the poor girl didn’t even know about it.
And so Tiffany struggled. She struggled to get her mind off that life-wrecker. She succeeded by the way.
Kinda.
Almost.
Not really.
She blamed it on him, honestly. The man was looking at Seohyun arguing with Jessica. And yes, the argument was about one wanting to sleep. Go figure. So when he came to talk to her, she was surprised.
“Are they always like this?” His voice was melody to her ears.
“Always.” She nodded, trying to keep it cool. “Why? Scared that your girlfriend will get hurt?”
“Which one?”
The girl gave him a blank stare. What did he mean when he said that? Could it be…..
“So one of them was your girlfriend?!”
“No. I meant which one did you thought was my girlfriend?”
Tiffany looked to the floor, her cheeks a bright red. Of course. Neither one of them would date Luhan after all. They are her sisters. Sisters do not go behind each other backs after all.
So when he looked at her expectantly, waiting for her to answer, she just shook her head and walk away right into the arms of a particular someone.
Kris.
“Oh, noona. Be careful.”
“Sorry. I should probably watch where I’m going.”
“Not probably. You must!” The man joked, patting the girl on her shoulders.
From afar, she could sense a pair of eyes watching and listening to their every move. Not to mention the heated stare battle between the two members.
“Noona. I have to go first. I’ll see you around! Luhan! Wait up!” Kris cried out, making a brief physical contact between him and the girl.
And Tiffany could have sworn that amidst the reply that Luhan gave him, it was through gritted teeth. That could have only meant one thing.
Jealousy.
