“damn you stupid bastards!” exclaimed Kei as he punch Reita at the jaw making Reita fall on the ground

“you have guts to fight with us! Let’s see what you can do!” exclaimed Yoshida as he grabs Kei’s arms then Hyuuga was about to hit Kei at the face but Kei quickly kick Hyuuga at the stomach then he throws Yoshida at the ground, Kentaro was about to hit Kei by a steel bar but Kei managed to grab the steel bar then he hits Kentaro by that steel bar…Kei beated the four punks by himself

“what a bunch of weaklings…” smirked Kei as he wiped the blood at the side of his mouth then he walks away

 

The next day at their class…

“ohayo…”greeted Kei as he enters the room

“yo…!” greeted Hikaru

“cheese…!” winked Daiki

“ne Kei-kun, what happened to your face..? why do you have bandage on your face…?” asked Hikaru as he noticed the bandages on Kei’s face

“let me guess, you had a fight with Reita and his gang again yesterday, aren’t you…?” said Daiki while crossing his arms onto his chest

“those bastards pissed me off so that’s why I didn’t control myself and I fought with them…” sneered Kei as he took his seat

 “you had a fight yesterday and you didn’t even call on us so we could beat those bastards too…”smirked Daiki while punching in the air

“they tell you ‘that’ thing again, right…? So that’s why you became pissed off and beat them…” said Hikaru

“yeah…you know that I hate being told like that…it really makes me pissed off..!” exclaimed Kei as he bangs his desk

“woah~ Kei-kun, relax ok…” said Daiki

 

“ok, class take your seats now for I’m going to introduce you your new classmate…” said their sensei as he went inside their room, “ok, come in and introduce yourself to class…” said their sensei then he gave the floor to the transfer student…then a petite-looking girl with long, black wavy hair went in front of the class…

 

“Fukuyama Rein desu, yoroshiku..” smiled Rein as she slightly bowed down her head

“kawaii na~…” mumbled Hikaru on his seat as his eyes were nailed onto Rein

“hey Hika-kun, don’t act like that or you might scare her…” said Daiki as he turns on Hikaru who was behind him

“but I just find her kawaii…I guess there’s nothing wrong with that…” pouted Hikaru while he puts his chin on his hand that was over his desk

“tss…our new classmate is a girl…”said Kei while looking at Miu disgustingly

“ok Fukuyama-san, you can take the vacant seat beside Inoo-san…” said their sensei

“hai…” smiled Rein then she went  towards the seat beside Kei

 

“Yaotome Hikaru desu, hajimemae…” said Hikaru as he grabbed Rein’s hand who was walking her way onto her seat which is behind his seat to caught her attention

“oh, you startled me…hajimemae Yaotome-kun…” smiled Rein as she now takes her seat

“you can call me Hika-kun…everybody calls me that…in exchange, may I call you Rein-chan…?” asked Hikaru

“hai~…” smiled Rein

“yosh…!we’re friends now…!” smiled Hikaru

 

During their lunchtime…

 

“Rein-chan, let me introduce you to my friends, this is Dai-kun and the one over there is Kei-kun…” said Hikaru as he points at his friends

“hajimemae Dai-kun, Kei-kun…” smiled Rein

“hajimemae Rein-chan…gomen if Hika-kun is so talkative…he’s always like that…please bear with him and don’t get irritated for him being talkative and all…” laughed Daiki

“goshinpai naku Dai-kun, Hika-kun being talkative is not irritating at all…he is fun to be with actually…before I went to this school I was afraid that I might get alone but I was wrong because I got friends on my first day here and I’m happy…” smiled Rein

“see Dai-kun, Rein-chan likes me so stop telling her foolish things about me…” pouted Hikaru as he sticks his tongue out and teased Daiki

“what a very childish guy…” sighed Daiki as he looked at Hikaru who was teasing him

“Kei-kun, daijoubu…? You were quiet since a while ago…” noticed Rein

“and so, you don’t care…” sneered Kei then he looks out the window

“oh, go…gomen Kei-kun…” uttered Rein who was shocked about the behavior of Kei

“bakero…! Don’t treat Rein-chan like that…! she’s new here in our school so please show her some kindness…” said Hikaru

“yeah…we know why you’re being like that demo, move on already…” said Daiki as he taps Kei’s shoulders

“whatever you say, I will not get close with that girl…” sneered Kei then he walks out the room

“gomen about that Rein-chan…”said Daiki

“it seems that Kei-kun doesn’t like me…” uttered Rein sadly while looking down to her feet

“no…no…it’s not like that Rein-chan…well, erm…you see Rein-chan, Kei-kun was like that towards all of the girls…” said Daiki

“eh…? Nande…?” asked Rein

“because he got dumped for about five times before…” Hikaru said insensitively

“EH…?! But why…?” asked Rein in disbelief

“it’s because of his face…he really hates having that face of him that looks girly…he often get involves into fights because those punks and called him a girl…and that was the same reason why those five girls dumped him…because he had a more girly face than them…” explained Daiki

“oh, that’s sad…now I understand why he’s acting like that…” said Rein

 

While Rein was on her way home, she passed by Nogawa River and she saw there Kei and four other guys…

 

“you again…?!” hissed Kei as he stopped walking as he saw Reita and his friends blocking his way

“you think we’ll let you get away with this…?!” exclaimed Reita while pointing at the bandage on his face

“tss…you never learn…” sneered Kei annoyingly

“we’ll not let a GIRL like you to beat us up…! So prepare for our revenge…!” exclaimed Kentaro, emphasizing the word ‘girl’

“what the hell did you just called me…?!” exclaimed Kei as he gave the four devilish  glares

“oh, the GIRL in front of us will start to cry any minute now…” laughed Yoshida

“come here my hime, let me do your hair for you…” laughed Hyuuga as he went near Kei and acts as if he was fixing Kei’s hair

“damn you…! You really pissed me off…!!! Well, you asked for it…!” exclaimed Kei as he grabbed Hyuuga’s arm, twist it and he throws Hyuuga to the ground

“get that bastard…!” exclaimed Reita then Yoshida and Kentaro attacked Kei at the same time…Kei jumped to where he was standing then he spin kicked Yoshida and he headbutt Kentaro…Kei didn’t noticed Reita who was behind him and Reita hit him by a wood that he was holding, blood comes out from Kei’s forehead..

“damn you…!” exclaimed Kei as he wipes the blood coming from his forehead then he attacked Reita punching him at the jaw that makes him fall on the ground

“I told you…you can never beat me…!” exclaimed Kei then he picked up his bag then he walks away leaving the four punks lying on the ground

 

“Kei-kun…!” exclaimed Rein as she runs after Kei

“eh…?” uttered Kei as he turns his head at his back and he saw Rein coming his way

“you’re bleeding…” said Rein worriedly then she took out her handkerchief and was about to wipe the blood on Kei’s forehead

“you don’t need to do that…I’m used to this…mind your own business…” sneered Kei while pushing Rein’s hand off his face

“I can’t let you go looking like that…I’ll carry it on my conscience because I saw what happened on you and what if you just collapse in the middle of the street because you lose many bloods…?it’ll gonna bother my conscience if something bad happens to you—“ Rein was interrupted by Kei

“ok, ok…man…! You’re so persistent…!” sighed Kei while scratching the back of his head

“ok, so come with me…” said Rein as she holds Kei’s hand and dragged him to the park

 

“ittai…please be a little bit gentle on my wound…” said Kei with a painful expression on his face as Rein was treating his wounds

“gomen…anooo~ Kei-kun, why did you fought with those guys…?” asked Rein curiously

“they’re my classmates in middle school, and since then, they always call me girl, hime or Juliet…I really hate it whenever they call me that…! honestly, I hate having a face like this…it…it…it causes me too much trouble…!” exclaimed Kei while clenching his fists then he looks at Rein who was also looking at him, “gomen, I said too much…”said Kei while calming down

“it’s because you have that girly face of yours that’s why those five girls which you confessed from before dumped you right…?” said Rein straightforwardly

“yeah…wait…! How did you know about that…?! Hikaru…! Daiki…!” exclaimed Kei as if cursing Hikaru and Daiki

 

Meanwhile, as Hikaru and Daiki were at the arcade…

 

“what was that chill…?” asked Daiki all of a sudden

“eh...?you felt that too…?i also felt that…it’s as if someone was talking about us…it gives me chills on my spine…” said Hikaru while hugging himself

 

Back to Kei and MRein at the park…

 

“I think you should move on from what had happened from the past Kei-kun…”said Rein

“what are you saying…?you don’t know anything…” sneered Kei

“yeah, maybe I don’t know anything that happened from your past but I’m your friend now so I’m giving you advice and the best thing to do is to move on…and about those guys who are calling you a girl, don’t mind them…whatever they say, you’re still you right…?you’re still the one who knows the true you so it’s useless listening to them…you’re just hurting yourself…like now…look what happened to you…” smiled Rein as she finished treating Kei’s wounds, “oh, it’s already getting dark…I must go home now Kei-kun…jaa~…!” said Rein while she stood up and walks away

“Rein-chan…” uttered Kei as he watched Rein walks away

 

The next day…

 

“ohayo…!” greeted Rein while entering their room

“yo…!” winked Daiki

“o-ha-yo…!” chanted Hikaru while waving at Rein

“eh…? Kei-kun isn’t here yet…?” noticed Rein as she took her seat

“yeah…he is quite late today…” agreed Hikaru while laying down his head on his desk

“ohayo…” greeted Kei as he enters the room

“finally you arrived Kei-kun…I thought you were not going to attend class today…” said Daiki

“you’ve got into a fight again…?!” exclaimed Hikaru as he noticed Kei’s face with bandage…AGAIN…(uhhh~poor Inoo’s face…haha XD)

“with Reita and his gang again…? Those four never learn…! Wait ‘til I get them…! Don’t worry Kei-kun, me and Hika-kun will go to those guys and we will teach them a lesson that they will never forget…!” exclaimed Daiki while looking at them menacingly as if he was about to murder someone…(oh, I never thought Daiki would ever looked like that…haha XD)

“no need Dai-kun…I already taught them a lesson yesterday…besides, I’ll gonna start ignoring their blabbering…” said Kei while taking his seat

“eh…?! Have you eaten something rotten Kei-kun…? you suddenly sounds as if you’re forgiving those bastards…” said Hikaru in surprise

“yeah…I guess you’re right, if forgiving was the right term to what I’m about to do…I think that it’s much better if I don’t mind those fools…” said Kei

“demo—“ Hikaru was interrupted

“well, aren’t the two of you happy that Kei-kun already learned how to forgive…?now, he will not gonna have that bruises and wounds all over his face…right Kei-kun…?” smiled Rein as she turns to Kei and face him

“oh…erm…yeah…” uttered Kei because he seems to get mesmerized at the smile of Rein then he quickly turns his eyes away from Rein so she would not see him blush

“hmmm…” mumbled Hikaru while looking at Kei from his seat and rubbing his chin as if he was on to something mischievous

 

At their lunchtime…

 

“ne Rein-chan, let’s eat lunch together…” said Hikaru while he puts his arm onto Rein’s shoulders then he looks at Kei as if teasing him

“sure Hika-kun, let’s also invite Dai-kun and Kei-kun…” smiled Rein

“no…we will going to have our lunch together only…you and me ONLY…” said Hikaru while still giving Kei a teasing look

“hey…! How come you’ll just gonna eat your lunch by yourselves…? Aren’t we your friends too…? Let’s eat our lunch together…the four of us…!” exclaimed Kei as his eyes were nailed onto Rein and Hikaru

“why are you reacting like that Kei-kun…? I thought you don’t like Rein-chan…? So why are you reacting like that…” said Hikaru giving Kei a teasing smile

“whatever…! We will eat lunch TOGETHER…! THE FOUR OF US, OK..?!  And no more excuses…! And would you take off your arm onto Rein-chan’s shoulders…! It doesn’t make you cool at all…!” sneered Kei then he grabs Miu’s hand and dragged her outside their room

“woah~ now what happened to that guy…?” asked Daiki in confusion while scratching the back of his head

“well, let’s just say that the girl-hater is now a lover-boy…” winked Hikaru as he watched Kei and Rein walked out of the classroom

“eh…? What do you mean Hika-kun…?” asked Daiki

“Kei-kun likes Rein-chan…!” blurted out Hikaru

“EHHHHHHHHHHH…?!!” exclaimed Daiki in disbelief

“you want proof…? Then I’ll show you later…” smirked Hikaru

 

After class, Hikaru, Kei and Daiki went to a ramen house first and grabbed some ramen…as they were eating…

 

“ne Kei-kun…” started Hikaru

“hmmm…” said Kei, not looking at Hikaru and busy eating his ramen

“do you like Rein-chan…?” Hikaru asked straightforwardly

“NANIII…??!!” coughed Kei as he was about to get choke on the ramen that he was eating because he got surprised to the question of his friend

“Kei-kun, daijoubu…?” asked Daiki while lending him a tissue

“what the hell are you saying Hika-kun…?!” Kei managed to say as he wipes his mouth with the tissue that Daiki gave him

“don’t answer my question with another question Kei-kun…! so what, do you like Rein-chan or not…?” repeated Hikaru

“i…i…i…” uttered Kei while rolling his eyes

“you what…?! Spit it out will yah…!” exclaimed Hikaru as he was very eager to know the answer

“I don’t like her ok…and why would I like that girl…?” sneered Kei as he took a drink

“oh…just asking…if that so, then will you help me confessed to Rein-chan…?” asked Hikaru while looking Kei teasingly

“NANII???!!” exclaimed Kei as he was about to spit the water from his mouth into Hikaru and Daiki who were in front of him…good thing he managed to get a hold of himself and didn’t spit the water onto his friends’ faces…

“what are you saying Hika-kun…?” asked Daiki as he taps Hikaru’s shoulders

“I said I’m planning on confessing to Rein-chan…so will you help me out…?” asked Hikaru while looking at Kei

“eh…?demo…why me…?” asked Kei while pointing at himself

“well, let’s just say that among the three of us, you had the most number of confessions into a girl…the sad part was you always gets dumped…” laughed Hikaru

“oh…thanks for reminding me Hika-kun…” sneered Kei while wiping his mouth

“I was just joking ok…so please help me out with this…” said Hikaru while giving Kei a pleading face as if a puppy begging for love

“hey Hika-kun, will you cut that out…you’re kinda giving me creeps…that look doesn’t suit you at all…” said Daiki while moving away from Hikaru

“urusai Dai-kun…!you will also help me with this…!” pouted Hikaru, “so are you gonna help me Kei-kun or are you gonna help me…?” asked Hikaru turning at Kei again

“what else can I do…?you didn’t even gave me an option…” sighed Kei

“yosh…!arigatou Kei-kun…!” said Hikaru then he continue eating his ramen

The next day…

 

“Rein-chan…! O-ha-yo…!” greeted Hikaru happily while he skipped his way to where Rein was then gave her a tight hug

“what the—“ uttered Kei while looking at Hikaru and Rein

“ohayo Hika-kun…you looked happy today…” smiled Rein

“I’m happy because I saw Rein-chan today…” said Hikaru while looking at Kei to check his reactions and he was happy to see the jealous look on Kei’s face

“I’m also happy to see the three of you today…” smiled Rein

“Hika-kun, aren’t we going to the gym today…?so stop loitering here…” said Kei annoyingly then he walks away

“oh, that’s right…so see you later Rein-chan…!” smiled Hikaru while waving at Rein then he ran after Kei

 

The whole day, Hikaru was making Kei jealous to him and Rein, he tried several things that would make Kei jealous and he was really happy because he gets the reaction from Kei that he was expecting…

 

“ne Kei-kun, aren’t Hika-kun and Rein-chan looked good together…?” asked Daiki as he helps Hikaru make Kei jealous

“eh…?!” asked Kei as his eyes widened after hearing what his friend had said

“aren’t you listening…? I said Hika-kun and Rein-chan looked good together…” repeated Daiki

“i…I never noticed about that…” sneered Kei while he looks at Hikaru and Rein who were in front of them looking so sweet

“eh…? You haven’t noticed about that…? how come…? Hmmm…say Kei-kun, are you jealous at them…?” asked Daiki looking at Kei with a teasing expression

“NANI…?! Me…?! get jealous at them…?!!! And why should I…?!” exclaimed Kei

“betsuni…I just thought that you were jealous of them…” chuckled Daiki

“well what you’re thinking is wrong…!” pouted Kei as his eyes were nailed onto Rein and Hikaru and his face was saying “I’m really, really getting jealous”…well, it seems that Kei was not good in hiding what he truly feels…

 

As they were walking home, Hikaru and Rein were so sweet in front of them as usual…

 

“tss…Hika-kun was beside Rein-chan all day long…!” sneered Kei as he looked at Rein and Hikaru with jealousy in his eyes

“that’s because he likes Rein-chan and he’s doing his best to get so close to her…” chuckled Daiki as he felt that Kei was really, really getting jealous right now…”if Kei-kun can only see the look on his face right now…this guy is really funny…” thought Daiki while looking at his friend

“demo, he’s ignoring us all day…!” hissed Kei

“why are you suddenly acting like that Kei-kun…? we’re always with Hika-kun so let him be with the one that he LOVES…” said Daiki emphasizing the word ‘love’

“love…love…tss…! It makes me pissed off whenever I see them like that…!” exclaimed Kei then he suddenly realized what he had said

“you are what Kei-kun…?!” exclaimed Daiki who was also surprised to hear those words come from Kei’s mouth

“i…erm…BETSUNI…!” exclaimed Kei then he shrugged his shoulders then he keeps on walking

 

Kei’ POV:

“man…! What is this I’m feeling inside my chest…? It’s as if hundreds of knives were stabbing my chest whenever I see Hika-kun and Rein-chan so sweet with each other and I hate it…! Arrrgh…! Matte, is this the feeling of being jealous…?! But why…? Why am I being jealous…?”

 

The next day…

 

“Kei-kun…” said Hikaru as he taps Kei at his shoulder

“nani…?” asked Kei

“I’m going to confess to Rein-chan later…” said Hikaru

“you’ll what…?!!!!” exclaimed Kei who was surprised on what he had heard

“I said I’m going to confess to rein-chan later…man Kei-kun, why are you being deaf these past few days…?” laughed Hikaru

“matte Hika-kun…” Kei tried to protest

“nani…?” asked Hikaru

“isn’t it a bit too early for you to confess on her…?” Kei tried to convince Hikaru

“eh…? I think this is the right time…before other guys might steal her away from me…” said Hikaru

“eh…demo…demo…”protested Kei

“you’ll help me with this one, right Kei-kun…?” winked Hikaru while putting his arm onto Kei’s shoulders

“erm…yeah…I guess so…” uttered Kei while looking down on his feet

“yosh…! So, go at the beach near Nogawa River later ok…? Around 8pm…you know I need moral support…” winked Hikaru then he walks away

“looks like Hika-kun will finally be getting a girlfriend…” said Daiki

“yeah…” uttered Kei

“I think Kei-kun also needs to have a girlfriend…” said Daiki suddenly

“eh…?” asked Kei as he looked at Daiki with wide eyes

“it’s been so long since you’ve ever confessed to a girl…so I guess you have to move on and find the girl that will capture your heart…wait, maybe you ALREADY found her…” chuckled Daiki

“what are you talking about Dai-kun…? what makes you say that…?” asked Kei as he slightly blushed

“nothing much…I just felt it…it’s much better if you let that feelings of yours reach the girl that you like…” said Daiki, tapping Kei’s shoulders then he leaves

“reach my feelings to the girl I like…” uttered Kei as the words from his friend sinked inside him

 

That night, Kei was on his way to the said beach where Hikaru was supposed to confess to Rein…Kei actually don’t want to go because the stabbing inside his chest keeps hurting him and he guess that he can’t look when Hikaru was about to confess to Rein and Rein will answer him…it really hurts him…he can’t take to see that the girl he loves to be with other guy…yeah, Kei now admits that he loves Rein…but it’s too late…he don’t want to steal Rein away from his friend…

As Kei arrived at the beach, he saw Rein standing at the beach bank while looking at the waves of the vast ocean…her long, wavy hair were being blown by the wind…the atmosphere there was so romantic since it’s night and the moon was beaming it’s light onto them, together with the little stars up in the sky…Kei find this place so romantic because it looks like what he had on mind for a perfect place to confess to a girl…now he was thinking why did Hikaru chose this place to confess on Rein…it hurts him even more because he was imagining that he was the guy who will confess to Rein right now…but all he’s doing was just staring at Rein, the girl that he likes, while waiting for Hikaru, the person that would really confess to Rein…Kei doesn’t have the courage to go near Rein because he was thinking that Rein shall see Hikaru first rather than him…since this was their special moment…so he just stand to where he was and watched over Rein…

 

30 minutes had past but Hikaru was nowhere to be found…Kei  saw Rein looking at her watch and looking left and right as if looking for Hikaru…suddenly, Kei felt his feet walking…walking towards Rein’s direction…he tries to stop walking but his feet looks like it has its own brain that controls it and it won’t stop from walking and the next thing he knew was that he was hugging Rein tightly from behind…

 

“Kei-kun…?” uttered Rein in surprise as she tilt her head to see who was hugging her, “what are you—“ Rein was interrupted

“daisuki dayo Rein-chan…” whispered Kei, still hugging her, “you were the only girl who didn’t judge me based on my looks…you opened up my mind…and my heart to love again…I can’t take to see you with another guy…I really…really love you Rein-chan…” confessed Kei as he turns Rein to face him

“Kei-kun…” uttered Rein while looking at Kei straight in the eyes

“i‘ve fallen for you since you’ve talked to me…you light up my world Rein-chan…those sweet smiles of yours…I want to see them everyday…i love you Rein-chan…so please, will you be my girlfriend…?” asked Kei while holding Rein’s hands

“but you look like a girl…” said Rein straightforwardly

Kei was too shock to what he had heard and he stood there like a log while looking at Rein sadly…

“Rein-chan…” uttered Kei while looking at Rein with sad eyes

“you looked like a girl…and I don’t care about that…all I know is that I love you…!whatever look you have, I’m still going to love you…remember that always ok…?so what’s with that sad face—“ Rein was interrupted when she felt Kei’s lips touched her lips and they share a romantic kiss under the moonlight with the sound of the wind from the beach…it’s just so romantic…

“you scared me there Rein-chan…I thought I’d get dumped for the sixth time…” said Kei while scratching the back of his head

“so you finally let your feelings reach Rein-chan…” said Daiki as he and Hikaru went towards Kei and Rein

“Dai-kun, Hika-kun…” uttered Kei and Rein

“you two were so romantic a while ago…” said Hikaru as he pretends to cry

“you…you…you saw all what happened…?!” exclaimed Kei while pointing at his friends

“of course…!we’ve been standing behind that tree for about an hour now…! I thought you’ll just gonna stand still there and won’t go and confess to Rein-chan…if you did that, I’d probably continue confessing on her…” laughed Hikaru

“Hika-kun…I know that this was supposed to be your confession, demo—“ Kei was interrupted by Hikaru

“I was never gonna confess to Rein-chan…how am I supposed to steal the girl which my friend likes…? I’m just being sweet with Rein-chan so that you’ll realize your true feelings for her, you denial king and gomen Rein-chan if I scared you when I’m being sweet to you…” said Hikaru

“yeah, you really did startled me there…demo, daijoubu…what you’ve done turned out well…” smiled Rein while holding onto Kei’s hand

“I thought I’d get heart disease because of the stabbing sensation that I felt on my chest whenever I see the two of you together…” said Kei while holding his chest

“that’s what you get when you’re denying your feelings…” laughed Daiki

“yeah…but thanks to the both of you…I’m now together with the girl that I truly love…the girl who lights up my world…” smiled Kei as he kissed Rein on the forehead
