Kiseop’s POV~

I was staring at her in class again when I was interrupted by…

“Lee Kiseop! Are you paying attention in my class?” The teacher shouted as she threw a duster at my head.

*Poof* Chalk powder covered my hair.

“No, I wasn’t.. Sorry!” I apologized as I stood up and bowed.

She giggled softly and smiled a me.

“Kiseop oppa you should really be paying much more attention!” She whispered.

I blushed and sat down.

*During Lunch*

I sat at our favorite table and picked at my food.

“Oppa!” she called.

I looked up and smiled at her.

She sat next to me and my heart started beating.

‘Come on! She’s your bestfriend! You shouldn’t feel this way!’ I thought to myself.

“Hello anyone there?” her voice asked as her arm was swinging in front of my face.

I snapped out of my train of thoughts and laughed nervously.

She giggled and whacked me on the shoulder lightly.

“Kiseop oppa you’re acting weird!” she laughed.

“No I’m not!” I yelled accidentally.

She was shocked.

“Sorry Kyu Mi-ah…” I apologized with my head down.

“Its okay! I forgive you!” she smiled and hugged me.

I felt my face heat up and my heart started to beat faster again.

“K..k..kyu Mi-ah!” I stuttered accidentally.

“Gosh oppa why are you stuttering now?” she asked me with a look.

*The next day*

Oppa come over to my house! ^^

I got up from my bed, after reading her messages and went to change.

I wore my favorite leather jacket, DBSK t-shirt  and grey skinny jeans with white sneakers.

I got out of my house and walked down the street over to her house.

I pressed the doorbell and waited for someone to answer.

A minute later the door opens and I smiled.

But soon my smile turned into a frown when a guy who was much more handsome than me greeted me.

“Hello er…is Kyu Mi here?” I asked.

“Oh! You must be Kiseop! She’s waiting for you upstairs in her room! Come in!” the guy smiled.

‘Who is he??? Is he her boyfriend???? Did she call me here just so she can tell me that hurtful news?’ I asked myself as I walked up the stairs and towards her room.

I knocked on the door before entering.

“Come in!” she sang.

I twisted the doorknob and went in.

I was shocked to see her room covered in streamers, balloons and pictures of us when we were kids till now!

“Surprise!” she giggled and hugged me.

“Kyu Mi what is this?” I asked.

“Its our 7^th year of being best friends!” she shouted.

“Oh…r.r..really?” I asked. ‘She counted?’

“Yeah Kiseop!” she nodded happily.

“Who was that guy downstairs?” I blurted out suddenly.

“Oh! That’s my brother Jiyong! He just came back from America!” she laughed

“Here you go this is for you!” she smiled as she handed me a small box.

I opened it and blushed.

Inside was a necklace with my name on it and a note?

I pointed at the note and to myself.

“Yeah go on r..r…reead it!” she laughed nervously and quickly turned away.

‘Dear Kiseop oppa,

Thanks for all the times you stood up for me and comforted me.

You were always there for me when I needed you and I am sorry if I’ve hurt you in some time during our friendship…

I have something to say…

Please don’t be mad..

But Lee Kiseop, I, Kwon Kyu Mi, am in love with someone…

I looked up to her and she was looking down at her feet and playing with her fingers.

I took a step closer and she ran and hugged me.

My eyes went wide.. Does this mean?

“Kiseop oppa I love you…” she whispered.

I hugged her back and smiled.

“Wow! Silly ! I thought you wouldn’t say that!” I chuckled.

“H.h..huh?” she asked as she looked up at me with a shocked expression.

“Don’t you get it silly? I love you too!” I laughed as I hugged her back.

“B..b..but..Why didn’t you tell me?!?!?!” she shouted and started punching my chest.

“Owww! Because I thought you only thought about me as a friend!!!” I shouted.

“Well! You should have told me anyway! Instead of making me write that note!!!” she pouted and turned away.

I hugged her back and rested my head on her shoulder.

“Well will having our first date make it up to you?” I smirked.

She turned around and hit me on the shoulder.

“I’d like that….” she smiled and ran.

“Yah! Get back!” I shouted as I chased after her…
