One Step, Two Step
One Step, Two StepThe beat of the song ended, and Donghae couldn’t help but collapse on the cool wooden floor of the dance room. Beside him, Minho was slowly coming to his senses after losing himself in the music and he, too, went to the ground, though much more gracefully than his hyung and sunbae. He untwisted the water bottle cap, tipping his head back and taking a long sip before offering it to Donghae. The older took it with a grin and finished it off.
“Yah, you’re really doing well, Minho-yah,” Donghae said, tossing the empty and crushed bottle aside; Minho frowned, he’d be sure to clean up after Donghae later.
The older just leaned over and ruffled his hair with a laugh, shaking his head. “Yah, Minho-yah, that face…” Donghae copied it, and this time Minho couldn’t help but laughing along. He really did look all serious business. He fixed his hair, flopping onto his stomach on the studio floor, burying his face in his arms. Donghae prodded his side.
“Hyung, what is it, I’m hot and sweaty and tired,” Minho complained. Donghae just laughed and continued poking Minho in the side. “Stop,” he whined.
It got so unbearable that Minho ended up twisting them around, climbing on top of Donghae and pinning his hands to the floor on either side of his head. “Hyung, I said stop,” he said sternly, but Donghae was giving him that smile. The one where it looked like he was completely zoned out, but his eyes were trained perfectly on Minho’s bearing into him. Minho felt suddenly awkward, so he shifted away, sitting with his legs crossed.
“I’m really proud of you, Minho-yah,” Donghae stated, still on the floor, watching Minho. The younger shrugged, motioning for him to continue. “I really thought you were going to kiss me.”
Minho could only gape as the older man ran out of the dance studio, cackling.
