“No” I said as I continued to write my essay in my laptop.

“Come on Sam, it's Saturday!” said my ever-so-hyper sister Grace.

“So?” I raised my eyebrow without looking away from the laptop.

“So?what do you mean so?!go out!get out of this stupid stuffy house!”.

“You do realize your inside this 'stupid stuffy house' right now, right?” I replied, finally turning to look at her and using air quotes.

“Well duh, but I’m not staying” she grinned “I have a date”.

“A date?” I smiled, crossing my arms and legs “And you haven't been nagging me about helping you dress?wow, an accomplishment indeed”.

“I'm not nagging you to help me, cuz I’m nagging you to help yourself” she rolled her eyes “but your being a stubborn nerd...like always”.

“Hey!you're a nerd too!”.

“But I’m a nerd who has a boyfriend, who just happens to be Choi Siwon of Super Junior so...ha!” .

“Ran out of words again?” I pouted sarcastically.

Grace rolled her eyes again “Just go get dressed, we're going on a double date”.

“No thanks” I turned to my laptop again.

Grace quickly closed the screen and ran with my laptop.

“Grace!Grace!” I got up and ran after her “Give me back my laptop!”.

“Only if you go on this double date and behave!” she said, standing in front of the kitchen sink, which just happened to face where I was standing near the door.

“Or what?!”.

“Little Maxy is going down the drain” She smiled evilly “oh yeah, I’ll throw your laptop in the sink”.

I gasped “Not my Max!” Max was the name of my laptop, it's an ASUS X72S series, and I cherished it more than my own life “Grace, all my articles and stories are in there, if you dare drop it I swear I'll-”.

“Yeah yeah, blah blah” she interrupted me “just go be the fashion diva you are and get dressed”.

“Whatever” I muttered as I dragged myself upstairs to get dressed.

So, I bet your all confused as hell, my name name is Samantha Al-ghamdi, I’m half-Korean and half-Arabic -Arabian dad, Korean mom- I have 2 older brothers and 1 older sister, yes people, I’m the youngest.

My mom and dad live in Vancouver with my 2^nd oldest brother, my oldest brother chose to live in America because he was born there, my sister Grace and I are currently residing in Seoul, South Korea due to the fact we're both studying in Kyunghee University, her as a medical student, I as a double-major in English Language & Literature and Food & Nutrition.

It took me around an hour to finish getting ready, I straightened my curly hair, put on a black mini dress with silver accessories and silver stilettos.

“Sam!come on Siwon-oppa and Kyuhyun-oppa are here!”.

I lifted my head did she just say Kyuhyun? That's odd, I thought she'd set me up with Ryeowook or Kibum...why Kyuhyun? Would we even get along? It's not like I've met him before..maybe that's why they set us up I thought.

“Sam?SAMANTHA!”.

“I'M COMING, CALM THE HELL DOWN!” I yelled, looking around for my silver wristlet before walking down the stairs “sorry I’m late, I lost my bag”.

“Hey Sam-ah” said Siwon with a smile.

“Hey Siwon-oppa” I slightly smiled “what's up?”.

“Not much really” he turned to Kyuhyun “Kyuhyun-ah, this is your date Sam” he turned to me “Sam-ah, this is your date Kyuhyun”.

“Nice to meet you” he said in a somewhat bored tone of voice.

“You too”.

“Ok!” said Grace clapping her hands one and breaking the awkward silence “Let's go, go, go!” she walked out of the house with Siwon first.

I walked after them with Kyuhyun but was stopped by something tugging the bottom of my dress. I looked back and saw my Slovak Wolf-dog Riccardo aka Ricky whining at my feet, I sighed and bent down, rubbing his head “Ricky, we'll be back soon ok?be a good dog and watch the house” I got up and bumped into Kyuhyun who was standing right behind me “Sorry”.

“It's fine” he walked away.

I closed our small home's door and followed him into the car.

“Took you long enough” muttered Grace from the front sat.

"Sorry” said Kyuhyun.

While we were waiting for our food, Siwon and Grace were being all lovey-dovey with each while Kyuhyun and I were awkwardly sitting.

Kyuhyun leaned to me and whispered “Does he seriously act this way with her?”.

I leaned back and said “Always, it's seriously gross” we glanced at each other and backed away to start a proper conversation.

“So...You study in Kyunghee right?” I asked.

“Yeah, I Major in Post-Modern Music, and you?”.

“I'm a dual major in English Lit and Food &Nutrition, I hope to have my own column about health and food in a newspaper one-day”.

“oh”.

“I hear a slight change of tone in that 'oh', what does it mean?” I asked, slightly offended.

“No, nothing. You just don't look like that type of girl”.

“What type of girl?”.

“You know...The weight-watchers, the calorie maniacs, the weighing scale lovers” he said the last one sarcastically.

The waiter arrived and started serving our food but I didn't even turn to him “Are you- are you calling me weight obsessed?”.

“Ooh boy” said Grace “Sam-”.

“No Grace, wait a minute” I turned to Kyuhyun “So?”.

“Well, you seem to be, I mean out of all the things on the menu, you ordered a salad”.

I turned to look at the salad I ordered than back at him “Do you wanna be here?”.

“Excuse me?”.

“I said Cho Kyuhyun, do you want to be here?” I repeated slowly, emphasizing every word.

“Honestly...No. Not one bit” he admitted, crossing his arm.

I got up and slid out of the privet booth we were sitting in “Well than go ahead and leave because I am, see you at home Grace, I’m gonna go to Juri's house” I walked away but stopped and turned “And by the way, I’m only eating a salad because I have to be healthy considering I have a heart disease and I’m not allowed to eat meat more than 3 times a week” I gave him a fierce glare before continuing to strut off.

“Kyuhyun-oppaaaa~” said Grace “why did you do that?I told you to be nice”.

“Well, I’m not in the mood to be nice right now!Siwon dragged me here after I broke up with my girlfriend!”.

“So?Sam got out of a 6 month relationship last week. At least she was trying to be civil” said Siwon.

“Fine, I’ll go after her” he ran out of the restaurant an caught up with me “YAH!YAH SAM-SHII!”.

“What do you want?” I asked rudely.

Kyuhyun stayed quiet for a while before looking at the ground “Tiny girls with pretty faces shouldn't be allowed to wander the streets on their own”.

“Do you have Schizophrenia?”.

“No, why?”.

“It's like I’m talking to more than one person. One minute your indirectly calling me anorexic, the next you call me pretty. Make up your mind”.

Kyuhyun sighed and stepped in front of me to stop me from walking, but I still didn't look at him “Look, I just got back from work, I’m tired, aching all over, and I have a headache. Siwon-hyung dragged me on this date by force...like literary, he dragged me”.

I turned to him with a somewhat pouty expression and crossed arms “I just got back from 6 hours of studying in the library, my back is killing me because of an operation I had a while ago, I think I twisted my ankle strutting in these heels, and Grace threatened to break my laptop if I didn't come on the date”.

“You win” his stomach growled, his eyes widened as he turned away and coughed awkwardly.

“Come on, I know a restaurant that serves real food unlike the crap we were about to eat 5 minutes ago”.

“Thank you”.

“It's across the street. Gosh I hate Seoul streets, they're so car jammed”.

Kyuhyun held my hand and blushed as he walked forward, ignoring my staring.

I smiled and walked along with him “Geek”.

“Nerd”.

“Idiot”.

“Computer Maniac”.

“Rude”.

“Manipulative”.

“I like you”.

“I like you more”.

This just might be the start of something good.
