Hi guys, so this is my first fanfic, and I hope many of you will support me along the way! I’m kinda nervous about this, cos’ it took me a lot of guts and everything for me to decide to write a fanfic on AFF. After all, there are so many wonderful writers out there (and hopefully I can become one too) so it’s really pressurizing.

I’m not quite confident of my command of English, so feel free to point out any errors, and well, what can I say? I’ll try my best!

So I’ve been thinking about this plot for quite a long time, I just didn’t know whether it was credible or not. So I decided to try it out, because I’d never know whether it’ll work out if I don’t try, right?

P.S. The alternate title for this fanfic is “100 days with Kim Jong In”, but it sounded so déjà vu-ish so I decided to abandon it.

You:

Jung Hyemi. A soon-to-be 18 year old orphan who hasn’t been adopted at all, therefore you have always been under the care of the granny in charge of the orphanage, whom you call “Halmeoni”.  (PS I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS ULZZANG COS’ SHE’S SO DARN PRETTY DAMN.)

You take choreography (more of song writing, actually) in Seoul Institute of Arts. However, you’ll be transferred to SM Arts High (in short, SM High) soon. You’re a blood type B, although, a reserved one at that, which means you take a while to open up to strangers. You're a little less active physically, but mentally, you have a lot to say on almost everything.

EXO-K:

In every high school/college, there’s bound to be that group of kingkas, no? The current one in SM High is none other than EXO-K (whose group name was created by the principal himself). EXO-K consists of 6 strikingly attractive boys, each of them coming from well-to-do families and all of them naturally good-looking. These boys have the looks, the riches and the brains; Basically, you name it, they have it.

Kai:

Kim Jongin. This 18 year old boy is a Year 2 in SM High who majors in dance. He’s part of the kingka group EXO-K. He tops his dance classes all the time, and he is known as Lee Taemin (another kingka) Jr. Besides his awesome dancing skills, his copper tan skin and slightly plump lips also attract girls like honey to bees. However, this main protagonist suddenly finds himself on a wheelchair temporarily, banned from dancing temporarily, and earning something… unexpected.

Suho: (in order of age)

His real name is Kim Joonmyun, but he prefers to go by the name Suho, which means guardian, because he feels that he is responsible for the idiots in his group. He’s the leader of the group, and most of the time, if not, all the time, the peacemaker and the one who gives the best advice on everything. He is in Year 4 and he majors in vocals, along with Baekhyun and D.O from the same group. He acts like your protective brother, and he looks like one too, since both of you have fair skin.

Baekhyun:

Byun Baekhyun is your everyday joker. This Year 3 boy can be a real sweetie pie at times, but that’s rare. Usually he’s a troublemaker, a prankster and a joker, along with his “sidekick” Park Chanyeol. He’s the second oldest in EXO-K, yet he doesn’t act like his age. He whines and throws tantrums in front of you, sometimes even calling you noona when he’s older than you. He reminds you of a cute little kitty, but when he’s serious, he turns into a lion. Who said cats weren’t ferocious?

Chanyeol:

Year 3’s Park Chanyeol also has another nickname, “Happy Virus”. You finally understood what it meant when you realized that he was never unhappy. When he’s around, everyone’s in a good mood, and the atmosphere is good. He makes the people around happy without himself noticing, and even though he’s really tall and intimidating, he can be really clumsy at times, thus a member of the derp squad, along with D.O and Sehun. This tall giant majors in rapping, which wasn’t surprising, since he has a scarily deep voice.

D.O:

D.O. isn’t his real name, of course. Do Kyungsoo, a Year 3 boy, also known as the umma of EXO-K is a dork. He’s clumsy as well, therefore riding the derp squad tide. He’s second best at giving advices, and his cooking is jjang! He often cooks for EXO-K, since cooking is his all-time hobby, apart from singing. Although short, his powerful vocals make up for everything. He’s closest to Kai among all of EXO-K, therefore he’s close to you as well. You tend to take one-on-one cooking lessons with him, and at the same time, learn more about Kai.

Sehun:

Although he doesn’t look like it, this Year 1 boy is indeed the maknae of EXO-K. At one glance, you might have thought the maknae was D.O or Baekhyun, but no, it’s Oh Sehun. As a freshman, they don’t take majors yet. However, because he’s an ulzzang, he was immediately accepted into EXO-K as the maknae when he first joined SM High. He is a cutie pie whose aegyo makes you cringe yet squeal at the same time. He’s younger than you, therefore he’s the only one in EXO-K who calls you ‘noona’. (that ignoring Baekhyun) 

Lee Jieun:

(let’s pretend that she isn’t IU, even though that’s her real name, heh)

Lee Jieun is the first person to approach you in SM High, therefore becoming your first friend. The both of you clicked instantly, being in the same homeroom and having the same major. She has a boyfriend in Year 4 (will be introduced in due time). This cute girl is a queenka at school, although, the queenkas in the school don’t walk around as a group, unlike the kingkas. Lee Jieun is also the school buzz who knows everyone and everything, therefore you learn a lot from her.

Kim Jonghyun:

Kim Jonghyun is one of the first few people you’ll be meeting, in fact, even earlier than EXO-K. His relationship with the main protagonist, Kai, will be revealed soon, but for now, let’s keep it a secret. He also studies in SM High, although, he’s a Year 5, along with his own kingka group, SHINee. This dinosaur treats you like his own younger sister, and he never fails to amuse you with his quirky facial expressions.

More characters will be revealed, but in the meantime, that’s all the people you’ll have to familiarize yourself with.
