L kept running. His shirt was now drenched with sweat and beads of perspiration covered his forehead, contrasting the cold snowing weather.

'L.. Help Yoona please.. She's missing'

The distraught voice of Taeyon kept ringing in his mind.

'L.. Help me'

This time he heard Yoona's voice.

'AAAISSHHHHH!!' he screamed in despair.

'Where are you, Yoona?' he asked out loud, panting heavily, his breath forming smoke-like vapour in the air, tears flowing out from his eyes.

FLASHBACK

'Yoona, Let's break up' L said solemnly.

'Okay' Yoona replied.

L was surprised. He expected her to break down, but now she accepted it cooly.

He knew that she was hiding her feelings.

'Yoong, you can cry and scream. Don't bottle it in' L said, looking at Yoona worriedly.

'No, I'm fine. We'll remain friends?' Yoona asked, a smile forming on her face.

'Sure, friends' L replied, taking out his hand and shaking Yoona's hand.

Unknown to L, Yoona was distraught. She couldn't think properly.

The moment he left, she broke down. Crying.

' What? Depression?' Taeyon asked, shocked.

'Yes. Miss Im Yoona has been suffering from depression for quite some time now' the Doctor replied her.

'Is anything the matter?' the Doctor asked.

'Yes. She's missing!' Taeyon replied.

'L.. Help Yoona please.. She's missing' Taeyon pleaded with L over the phone.

'I must find her! Where can you be Yoona?' he asked himself as he continued searching the park.

Then it hit him. In the mountain! It must be the mountain

L reminisced their memories as he drove to the mountain.

'Oof!' Yoona screamed when a snowball hit her head.

'YAA! KIM MYUNGSOO! YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THAT!' she screamed at the laughing L.

'Catch me if you can!' L replied, sticking his tongue at her.

Yoona came running after L but L suddenly turned back and pushed Yoona to the snowy ground. As her instincts took over, Yoona dragged L down with her when she fell.

Their faces were so close. Yoona's eyes widened.

L leaned in for a kiss, which Yoona accepted.

'I love you'

'Aissh!' a crying L punched the steering wheel as he remembered the past.

'How could I be such a jerk!' he scolded himself.

'YOONA!' he yelled again.

'WHERE ARE YOU?' he asked while walking to the top of the mountain.

Then he saw her. She was under the frozen tree, the very tree where they had their snowball fights, first kiss and break-up. Her eyes were closed, pale from the cold.

'Yoona!' he shouted as he ran to her.

He held her face in his hands. There was no reaction.

'Yoona, please wake up!' he begged the 'sleeping' lady.

He took her hands and blew hot air on it, hoping to warm her back to consciousness.

Teard flowed down his cheeks as he hugged her cold body.

'I love you Yoona' he whispered.

He continued hugging her.

She couldn't die. He won't let it happen.

L felt a snowball hit his head.

He turned back and saw Yoona, smiling.

He immediately ran and hugged her.

'Yoona' he said happily, smiling, hugging her even more tightly.

'Aissh. L, had you not hugged me enough?' Yoona asked L.

The pair looked at their frozen bodies, with L hugging Yoona.

'No' L replied.

'Don't you regret it?' Yoona asked.

'Regret what?' L asked.

'Dying with me?' Yoona replied.

'No' L answered, 'I don't regret it at all'

'Don't you find it ironic? We met here, played with snow when we were dating and died here?'

'Sure. And now even after death, we are still walking here'
