First Argument
Beneath the Lies
You opened the door to your apartment. You entered your room with a worn out face. Your eyes were swollen and your heart was still feeling disappointment. You picked up the picture frame that held the picture of you and Daehyun at the Namsan Tower. A tear drop fell on the frame. *This picture was supposed to remind us we will always love each other* You quickly wiped your tears away. You sighed and placed it back on your desk. *Nothing is going on between them. They were just celebrating his birthday. I shouldn’t misunderstand* You tried to calm yourself down.
Daehyun was in front of his apartment door before he glanced at your door. *Is she asleep yet?* He ran his fingers through his hair. *I screwed up big time* He hesitated to ring your doorbell but he eventually found the courage. You opened your door.
“~~~~~” He started to say. *Her eyes are red and swollen*
“Daehyun, it’s late. What are you doing here?” You tried to sound calm.
“Before, at the bar…” His voice trailed off. You gazed at him. “I told you it’s fine”
“It’s not fine at all. Why do you keep telling me that?” You stared at him. “Your eyes tell me everything!” You were surprised at his sudden outburst.
“What is wrong with you today?” You asked. “I just want you to be happy..” You sighed. “Daehyun, you’re tired. Just go back to your apartment. We can talk about this tomorrow” He hesitated but nodded. He took a step forward towards you but you took one step back. He was surprised.
“Can I get a hug?” You gulped. You were trying to avoid having to smell the fruity smell on his clothes.
“~~~~~?” You gave him a hug and held your breath. He pulled away and waved to you. “Good night, ~~~~~”
“Good night, Daehyun”
You close your door and shook your head. * This is not good.*

The next morning, you promised yourself to forget what happened last night. You were going to stay happy and cheerful that Daehyun was still your boyfriend.
You walk into work right after school and your co-workers saw the sweet smile on your face. Kris smiled back.
“You’re feeling better today, right?” You nodded. “Of course!” You giggled. You went to change into your uniform and came back out and began serving people.
