Kyungsoo is the last one to walk out of class,hoping that he wouldn't bump into that certain tan-skinned langky guy that he really doesn't have the strength to face.It hurts just seeing the back of his head,let alone bump into him.Hurriedly,he zips through the crowds in the hallway and heads towards the music rooms.It was one of the only few places that allowed him to breathe without feeling painful stabs in his ribs.

Just as he turned the corner to the art department hallway,he froze.The guy was there.The guy he really didn't want to face.He was walking with his group of friends laughing and fooling around like he was the most carefree person in the world.Kyungsoo felt a pang of hurt in his heart.The guy looked like he was really happy with how his life was going,and here he was feeling all hurt and pathetic for nothing.It hurt to know he was the only one hurting.'Owh get a grip on yourself,Do Kyungsoo.'

He looked around frantically for a way to escape from having to bump into the guy.Just then,he spotted Yixing heading his way and he quickly rushed to him.

"Yixing-ah!" Yixing looked up from the ipod he was holding and smiled."Kyungsoo-ah.What's up?" Kyungsoo had never felt so relieved,even if it was only just for a while.

"Yixing-ah,are you going to the music room?Let's go together!" Kyungsoo tried not to sound desperate.But the truth was,he was as desperate as fish without water.Desperate to escape from the suffocation and painful stabs starting to build up inside him.

"Sure."

As they headed towards the music room,Kyungsoo babbled to Yixing about a new song he wrote,pretending as though it was more important and interesting than anything else that was happening around him.He pretended to be deeply engaged into the conversation and pretended not to see the tan-skinned boy standing 20 feet away from him.

The tan-skinned boy didn't seem to notice him though.He continued to walk down the hallway, eyes on his phone while his group of rowdy friends split away from him and headed somewhere else.He walked with his bestfriend Taemin as he half-listened to Taemin droaning on and on about how he had to wait for 3 hours just to buy the converse bag he was using.And then Taemin said he wanted to go the music room because he left his notebook there.So Taemin headed to the music room first and saw Kyungsoo.Kyungsoo just smiled,and he nodded in acknowledgement.

Kyungsoo felt like a 5 year-old trapped in a big maze.He didn't know what to do.He didn't know where to go.Where to hide.He knew Jongin was heading towards them although the said boy hadn't realised his presence yet.For a second,he had a really crazy thought of sticking around to find  out how Jongin would react if he really bumped into him.He felt this sudden urge to know.So instead of going straight into the music room,he stopped right infront of the doors of the music room and continued to chat with Yixing there.It was all he could do not to turn and look at Jongin.

And after what seemed like forever,Jongin finally looked up from his phone.And looked straight at Kyungsoo.Kyungsoo finally turned and looked straight back at him.But Kyungsoo would never in a million years have guessed how Jongin would react.And the way he did really pained Kyungsoo to his bones.

Jongin averted his eyes,turned around and walked away.

And Kyungsoo had never felt so broken before.

Never in his 6 years of friendship with Jongin did he feel so...abandoned.And hurt.

And he realised that definitely hated the feeling.
