All i could hear is my mum yelling "guigui! wake up ! its the first day back to school and your going to be late!"  

There was about 3 alarms going off at the same ( im guessing my mom put them there). So i popped open my eyes and found my dog my right cheek.."gross lilly" i groaned.  i wiped my cheek with some tissue and tossed it into the bin, i hurried and follwed the noises where all the alarms were. one was under my pillow, another in my closet, another under my bed and the last one was hung around lillys neck!?! i got changed into my uniform which was red navy and white and slipped on a pair of  white knee high socks. i went to the bathroom brushed my teeth ,washed my face, put on some eyeliner and mascara ( and also went for a pee). i glanced at the mirror once more before i went down stairs.. On my way down  the stairs i stepped on something gooey and smelly, and guess what it was lillys poo!!

i yelled " ew ew ew MOM get it off!"

so my mum came out from the kitchen with a peg on her nose and a pair of transparent gloves on and She took off my socks. i swear its like my mum that was going to happen to me  she came all prepared!! i ran back up stairs and slipped on another pai of knee high socks and ran back downstairs and avoided the blop of poo! i went into the kitchen. " hi mum" i said

 grabbed an apple and said " bye mum." And headed for the door.. but then i noticed i wasnt wearing any shoes, i then put on my school shoes and closed the door.  I my ipod, popped my ears phones on and headed for the bustop which was a five mintue walk... i walked outta my estate (lavender lane), crossed the road and through a small alley way. i waited for the bus when suddenly a truck caming spedding into a giantgantic muddy puddle of water and splahed me wet and brown from head to toe !  i looked like a moving chocolate bar!! my mascara came running down...it was still lashing raining.... i felt a shadow cast over my head i looked up to see a very handsome boy around my age holding an umbrella over the both of us.... " its not good to stand in the rain you'll catch a cold" the boy said and handed me a tissue " here i think you need this more than me"  he then said.

 "thanks..." i said very quietly... my face turned bright red...i wiped the mascara tircklingdown my face.. the whole tissue turned black!

" im yan yalun. whats your name?

i looked up at him and i just stood there motionless gazing into his chocolate brown eyes.i snapped outta of it .

" i.. i...i'm... w..wu..yi...yi..ying..jie... wu ying jie.."

" thats a nice name" he said

"so what school do you go to?" i said trying to make conversations

"liberty mount, i just moved here from london.."

"i go to that school too! maybe we can ecome good friends! but your madarin seems very  fluent"

 " thats because  i was born in taiwan but i moved to london when i was 7.. moved back to taiwan about a month ago"s

" i see...thats cool! oh here comes the bus!" the bus door opens..

"ladies first "he said and flashed a heart melting smile at me which showed his perfect white teeth. we got on the bus but all the seat were taken. the bus door closed and the bus started to move.

"so where do you live?" i said

" ermm in sliverwoods park"

" oh i live in lavender lane its just right next to your...."  the bus halted to a sudden stop to let a furry cat cross the road.. i fell and bumped into aaron.

"s..sss...sorry" i said

" its okay "

"this is our stop here "

we got off the bus and then i heard the school bell ring.

"we better hurry!! i dont think detentions is the best way to start off your first day of school!!" we ran towards the main entrance. the recpetion is just around the corner" i pointed 

"i better head to class " i said and waved goodbye to yan yalun.

"cya later, wu ying jie. it was nice meeting you!" and he flashed the smile he flashed at me earlier at the bustop.

i legged it up the stairs. i got to my classroom before ms. cooper was there... it was kinda weird for ms.cooper to not be on time..

"phew" i said in relief.

ive always taught ms cooper should take some anger management therapy classes, shes like anger like for the whole 365 days of the year!! i sat down in my usual seat which was in the second back row next to the window (the only reason i sat there was because i could see all the basket ball players play basket ball...when i got bored in class)

"hollie,lauren.hayley come over here! you never would guess what happen to me this morning" i siad with joy

" what!" they said with excitement.

then ms.cooper came in  with yan yalun!! my mouth dropped open... i couldnt believe that yan yalun was going to be in my class!

" i'll tell you later" i whispered..

" students" ms cooper said.

"this is yan yalun, he just moved here from london but he knows madarin ! ill be assigning  somebody to give yan yalun a tour of this school after lunch. you sit over there: she pointed to the the desk in front of me.

" i front of ms. wu ying jie" she said.

" whos is that hottie" britney said

" okay ms. cooper" he said.

" ms. wu ying jie ,im choosing you to give class mate yan yalun a tour of the school"

 " yes miss!" i said with joy. yan yalun walked over to his seat.

"hey" he whispered, and sat down in his seat..

class passed very quicky because i was still in shock that yan yalun was stil in my class..

" miss wu ying jie!! what is the ditance formula?"

 " ehhh... how  long it take to get there??" i said in confusion. okay... so im not good at maths... well actually i at every single subject including  sports!

" wrong ! i think you should pay more attention in class or i will ge you expelled i ! do you hear me?! " ms. cooper yelled!

the bell rang and ms. cooper legged it out of class like she saw a ghost or something!

i sighed..." why am i so dumb at school" i said to myself...

nick turned around in his seat. " so were in the same class. what a coincidence!"

" yeah, oh ya i nearlly forgot class mate yan.." yan yalun cut me off

" you can call me aaron or yalun" he said and smiled

" oh okay, so aaron finish your lunch and ill give you a tour of the school and by the way you can call me guigui or ghost"

" guigui what a unique nickname.. i like it" he said
