I stood like a stump and gazed at his deep brown eyes. 

My heart raced to its peak and my palms started to sweat.

*Well... Don't just stand there! Speak!* My conscience scolded me for being a coward. 

I took the chance. 

It's now or never.

"I- I..." My voice came out dried and hoarse.

His eyes locked on mine, patiently waiting for me to finish.

*Speak! Don't be a coward! Speak!* Again my conscience spoke.

I bit my lip and tried again.

"I- I li-like you..." I bowed my head and shut my eyes tightly frightened of what he was going to say.

"I'm So-sorry..." He replied in a whisper. 

My eyes became wide and tears threatened to fall out of the rims. There was an unsteady pattern of breathing as my chest tightened by itself. 

There was only one choice for me to do in this situation. That is...

To run. Hide. Escape. 

Yes.

That was exactly what I was going to do. By now, tears already came out falling onto my cheeks.

I turned around with my head still bowed and started to run away. That was until he caught my wrist and turned me back to face him.

Hi guys!!!! Back with another story.... Well, short story that is.....

This just popped in my head, and I just had to write about it. 

It may be a one, two, or who knows... May be three shot. But most likely a one-shot.
