Who would expect this shy, quiet young man to have such an amazing voice? Those who know don't
appreciate his talent, put him down and tell him he'll never make anything of himself with something so
"useless." No one knows his secret, his wish, his want to escape the reality he lives in. Here, Baekhyun
comes from a troubled, broken home: a step father who is never sober enough to treat him like he deserves;
a mother, so blinded by "love", that she doesn't care her son is mistreated; and an older sister who treats
him worse than the filth on the bottom of her designer shoes.
A never ceasing smile, kind words, always happy; behind every smile is a tragic story. He is no different.
Here, Chanyeol is a bright, enthusiastic young boy who lives every day like it could be his last, because it
very well might be. His secret is a disease, one that is killing him from the inside out. But no one knows,
because he doesn't want them to treat him any differently that a perfectly healthy person. He only wants
to get as much out of life as he can.
