“Ma! This is pretty, right?” you asked while running up to her, holding up a Polaroid picture of yourself.

Your mum embraced the tiny you in her arms. She kissed your forehead and looked down at the picture you were holding. You looked so eager to show her the picture your dad just took of you. “Yes, hun. You look really beautiful in the picture.”

You shook your head, that wasn’t what you meant. “No, ma. I like what the picture is telling me,” you said, looking at your mum’s confused expression. “It’s really colorful. And the sun is shining onto my face. I’m glowing. Like an angel. It’s telling me I’m really happy,” you further explained to her.

You always liked looking at the whole picture. To you, every picture taken tells a different story. The character alone is insufficient to portray anything. Or tell you the actual story.

At a very young age, you were already exposed to all sorts of photography scenes. Maybe because your dad owns a modeling company and your mum was in charge of the photography sessions. You were close to your mum. You were always with her and you loved her job so much. You loved your job, too. After every photo shoot, you get to look over the pictures with her. You get to tell your mum stories behind each picture and you get to voice out your own opinion. You have always had the better sense of picking the best picture to submit to the clients. And, the clients were always satisfied. You were your mum’s little assistant. A great one, too.

“No, it’s just your sweet smile, darling.” Your dad laughed as he walked in your mum’s little pink bakery, another woman in his arm. Stepmom, you had to call her.

You begged to differ but you never opened your mouth to argue back even though your dad wouldn’t scold you if you did. Little things make a difference, you told yourself as you stare into the picture. If the picture was in black and white, it would be telling you a complete different story. So what if you were smiling brightly? The picture would still be black and white. It simply tells you that although a big smile is present, there was still a missing piece in your life and your world had lost its colors. What the missing piece is will be a whole new mystery and story.

The one in your hand was full with bright colors. You really liked that picture.

“It’s nice for you to bring her over,” your mum stood up, hand placed on your shoulder while you stood in front of her, both of you were facing your dad and that woman.

“It’s nothing, really.” Your dad was always a busy man. He never had time for you or for your mum.

“Dear, we have to go,” the woman, your stepmom pouted, he hands gently shook your dad’s right arm.

“That soon?” Your mum held you closer.

The woman grinned. “I’m sorry but we’re really busy.” She held her right hand out, “Come on, we have to go,” motioning you to hold her hand and leave the place.

And you did, though, you were a little hesitated.

Now, you wished you didn’t.

Baekhyun, 20.

This dude right here is their neighbor, who is living alone just next to them. The boys are constantly driving him nuts with daily annoyances but he didn’t move out because that’s the only place he could afford currently. Which brings us to the next point; he is extremely independent. After his mum passed away, his only relative is his father, who is constantly asking him to take over his multi-billion dollar investing company. Baekhyun, however, has a plan of his own. Thus, he had a deal with his dad to build a bright future of his own within a period of time or he’ll have to go back to his dad.

Sehun, 19.

He’s just really shy. Due to his timidness, he’s always seen as the little boy of the block. Also according to his birthday, he’s the youngest in the house! His worst fear is actually the opposite and he can’t have a normal conversation with any girl without looking like a summer tomato. Worse yet, he can’t even converse properly when in contact with a girl. He is always seen with his best friend, Luhan, who also shares the same symptom – also known as the tomato face- but with his own problem.

Suho, 20.

He’s the most mature one and therefore, treated and seen as the leader of the house. He makes the decision, which is always through deep thoughts and smart observation. Not only that, he’s the only one having a part-time job and paying for almost everything. Overall, he’s the only sane and normal one.

Kyungsoo, 19.

Though Kyungsoo is not the youngest but he is the most childish one in the house. He is forever causing trouble and getting himself into trouble. But he is the best at keeping other company. You can find yourself laughing and crying at every action of his.

Kris, 20.

This fella right here is always in a bad mood. Negative thoughts, curses, fights, you name it. Oh, he’s also the evil mastermind. He’s only smiling, no, more like smirking or grinning, after every successful dark plan of his.

Chanyeol, 20.

He’s forever happy, ‘nuff said.

Kai, 19.

He is possibly the most talented in any physical activities but ends up being the worst at them also because he’s always falling asleep in the middle of anything he’s doing. Why? Because he’s always awake at night, causing him to always feel sleepy in the day. He’s a werewolf. Nah, just kidding. Favorite spot to sleep? Probably everywhere.

Luhan, 19.

He has a rare disease named pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections with the acronym PANDAS (It’s real, look it up on Google) which causes him to sneeze nonstop due to an obsessive-compulsive behavior. It’s not deadly though because Luhan is still living the life of a normal happy boy! Except for the fact that his face is always burning red. And it always starts at the tip of his nose before spreading to his ears and to his entire face.

Tiffany, 19.

She is the daughter of a man who owns a camera shop and also has half the share of the block all of you are staying in. She’s a beautiful girl and is the most popular girl in her college. However, she doesn’t care much about popularity and rather stay low profile, choosing to ignore what people see her as. And, she’s the only girl best friend you have during the stay with the guys. After your incident, Tiffany’s the one who bought your first shopping, first dance and first job interview.

Then, there’s you.

A runaway girl.

A girl with temporary selective memory loss.

A self-proclaim photographer.

A girl living in 7 strangers’ house.

A girl named Kim Hyemi.

I'm probably going to start updating this after I'm done with my first fanfic 'Sparks In Between' but is yet to be confirmed. New semester of college just started for me and I'll guess I'll be pretty busy but I'l always try tp update (: Most likely everyday but Mondays as I'm only done with classes at 6 in the evening!

On the other note, the 7 guys are just somewhat related to some characteristics of the 7 drawfs and are bound to change almost at the end of the fanfic. Err, you'll understand after reading them XD
