“Sehun-ah have you heard about the Red String of Fate?” Luhan asked casually, sipping on his bubble tea. Sehun was sitting opposite him in a large circle of people but it felt like they were the only ones there.  

“Is it that ancient Chinese myth? I think I’ve heard about it, but I’ve never really understood it.” Sehun replied, looking directly at Luhan.

"Ah, well according to the myth, the Gods tie an invisible red thread around those who are destined to be soul mates, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. Do you understand now?."

“I do, but how do you know when it’s the right person?” Sehun asked as he continued to gaze steadily at that one special person he adored.  

“Well… you just know.” Luhan responded, trying to avoid eye contact. The intensity of Sehun’s gaze was literally bringing tears to his deer-like eyes because it made his painful heart pound faster than it ever had before.

“Hyung, when you do find her, you won’t forget about me.. will you?” Sehun asked with such pitiful eyes. He was indeed disappointed that one day his special hyung will find his other half and leave him all alone.

“Of course not.” Luhan answered straight away. Why would I do that? Luhan paused. This sudden question had definitely caught him off guard.

I’ll never forget about you because you are the one who’s most important to me. Those were the words Luhan wanted to say but instead he told Sehun to drink up his bubble tea since they would be leaving soon.  

“Hyung, I will miss you when you’re in China.” Sehun blinked as tears began to form in his eyes.

But not as much as I will miss you.
Sehun-ah I think you are the one at the other side of my red string…

A/N: Sobbing so hard. Exo-M will be heading back to China again and poor Hunhan sob sob sob. I can’t stand it T^T my OTP huhuhuhuhu I’m sorry I’m just a little emotional and I just had to to write a HunHan fic because they are meant to be, no matter what anyone says! I hope the foreword is okay and I hope you like the poster, I spent a lot of time on it. Okay bye I am now going to cry in my HunHan bubble.
