December 24, 2012.

Red and green Christmas decorations everywhere. Balloons hanging from the ceiling. Party hats all lined up in the kitchen table. Food already been prepared in the living room. It was already 7:30 pm and the party was about to start. The guys were all wearing something green. They were in the living room, trying the new karaoke machine they just bought while the ladies are in their room.

"Hyosung noona, Jieun noona, Sunhwa noona, Zinger noona, aren't you ready yet.?!" Yi Jung screamed at the other side "The hyung's are already in the living room, what's taking you noona's so long?" he opened the door

"Okay okay. We're ready" Hyosung said as she stepped in front of Yi Jung

Yi Jung walked in the room "Whoah.! Hyosung noona, you look pretty" . She was wearing a hot red tank top, short shorts and killer black heels. All the ladies were practically wearing red.

Hyosung pinched his cheeks and smiled "Why thank you"

Sunhwa appeared behind Hyosung's shoulder "How about US Yi Jung-ah.?"

He looked at the 3 girls "You all look pretty noona but you better hurry before the hyung's start eating the food"

"Okay. Were here" Zinger said as she took one last step from the stairs

The guys stared at them for a moment and had their mouth slightly open, except Daehyun who was wearing his mask. His eyes feasting on that one purple head-gummy smile girl, gawking at her. "Hot"  He thought to himself.

"What are you guys waiting for.? Let's start the partaaayyy.!" Sunhwa shouted

They were all having a good time. Taking turns in singing and dancing to their heart's content. Hyosung was just in the kitchen table, watching her friends have the best time of their lives. Her mind is preoccupied about Daehyun's present. She touched her back pocket and felt the present she had for him. "What if he doesn't like it.?" What if he breaks up with me.?" What if he likes something more expensive.?" , her mind flowing with so many questions. Suddenly, her phone rang.

Caller I.D: 'Umma :)

Walking away from the massive noise, she stepped outside the living room then to the balcony, closing the door behind her and answered the call. "Umma" she smiled

"My Hyosung-ah. Advance Merry Christmas.! Umma misses you so much" Hana said. It was already 11:30 pm, 30 more minutes before December 25.

"I miss you too umma and advance Merry Christmas" Hyosung greeted back to her mother

"How are things going.? Are you having a good time on your Christmas day.?"

She smiled "Too much fun" . "Neh umma, I'm having a good time. How about you.?"

"Oh, me and your aunt Jaehee just finished meeting the Ambassador of Vietnam and headed for a Christmas dinner, just the two of us. I wish you, Daehyun and Yi Jung are here though"

"Maybe some other time umma"

Hana sighed through the phone "Yeah. Maybe next time. I gotta go Hyosung-ah. I love you."

"I love you too umma" Hyosung said and hang up. She then heard the balcony door open.

Daehyun stood next to her. "Who was it.?"

"It was umma, wishing me a Merry Christmas" she sadly said

He noticed the sad look on her face "Do you miss her.? Are you not happy right now.?" he asked

Hyosung snapped her head "Of course I'm happy!" she hugged him "I'm too happy that I might die any minute"

"Yah.! What are you saying.? You're just gonna leave me all alone.?! No.! I won't allow it" he said, irritated at the thought of her leaving him.

She hugged him tighter, happy of what he said. "I'm kidding" she giggled in his chest. She stayed quiet for a moment and stared deeply into the black sky.

Daehyun rubbed her back "What are you thinking about.? I know something's bothering you"

Hyosung pulled her head away from his chest and touched her back pocket. She hesitantly took out the pocket book and gave it to Daehyun "Me-merry Christmas". He took the pocket book from her hands and looked at her. "Please don't throw it away" she said. He chuckled and read the title: 'My Everything'. It was a pocket book filled with Love quotes. He carefully scanned through the pages and saw the last page with Hyosung's handwriting on it.

  The last week or so, I've been feeling happy and irritated at the same time.

Daehyun was so touched at Hyosung's letter. So touched that he just wanted to push her against a wall and kiss her the entire night.  He looked at her and lifted her chin up to face him.

Hyosung looked at her nervously and blabbered "I didn't know what else to give you. I know you said that you don't want anything. But still, this is our first Christmas ever and I wanted to give you something. I didn't know what kind of gift you wanted. Did you want an expensive bracelet or something, but then I thought that you already have many of those. Then I wondered if I should have cooked you something, but then again, food doesn't last forever so I---------" 

"You talk too much" Daehyun cut her off by kissing her lips "I love it Hyosung. Gomawo. Don't worry, I won't throw it away"

She bit her bottom lip and showed him her gummy smile

"Now it's my turn" Daehyun took the white box in his jacket "Merry Christmas"

Hyosung stared at the white box and opened it. She gasped when she saw two white gold couple rings inside. "Omo.!" She took a long glance at the couple rings and saw the engraved words on it 'Together Forever'

Daehyun slowly slid the ring on her finger as Hyosung did the same to him. They both looked at their hands and smiled at each other. He cupped both of her face and kissed her passionately.

Moments later, Jieun popped her head out of the door "You guys.! It's aready 11:58..! The countdown is about to start. Come on.!" Daehyun and Hyosung broke from their kiss and laughed, walked hand in hand inside the house.
