There are new TORCHES born every now and then. These TORCHES have been given a KEY when they were first born as HUMANS, but could never see them. The KEYZ have waiting for them to be reborn as TORCHES to then guard them through the rest of their life, and use their help to hunt down JOKERZ.

8 KEYZ, who have been given to 8 TORCHES, have to now guard them, watch over and protect them with their own lives. Hate arises, Love is in the air, Death is far away but so close at the same time. What will happen to those 8 girls who have nothing to loose but everything to gain?

• TORCHES || People that are born after dying. They recieve a KEY after they are born as TORCHES. They are able to see other KEYZ as well as JOKERZ and PEACEMAKERS. They need to be protected from JOKERZ who want their LOCKETS. TORCHES are immortal after they're reborn but can be killed by JOKERZ, or if someone breaks their LOCKET.

• KEYZ || Creatures that are guard and protectors of TORCHES. KEYZ have the abillity to travel through time and space, have their own individual abillities/powers and are immortal. They become HUMANS and loose their memory [or in special cases TORCHES] when the TORCH that they have guarded is killed by a JOKER. KEYZ, with the help of their TORCHES are given a job by a PEACEMAKER. This job is usually to catch or hunt down a JOKER and bring them to the BASE. KEYZ have FAMILIAR spirits [animals]. KEYZ look after TORCHES' LOCKETS for them.

• JOKERZ || They are KEYS that have killed more than 2 TORCHES, KEYZ or PEACEMAKERS. They become JOKERZ when they go over the limit and use their abillities/powers to murder TORCHES, KEYZ and PEACEMAKERS to gain more power. They are selfish most of the times and really dangerouse. JOKERZ have GHOULS instead od FAMILIARS.

• PEACEMAKERS || They are people in charge of a certain group. They usually give jobs to KEYZ, keep the caught JOKERZ in the ABYSS and watch over certain areas. 

•  FAMILIAR Spirits || Animal spirits that each KEY has. 

• GHOULS || Monsters that belong to JOKERZ, they are a bad kind of FAMILIARS.

• The KEEPERZ || They are mischiveous human-like creatures who are very tricky and dangerous. They are on the good side, usually working for PEACEMAKERS of higher ranks. They are spies, who eliminate those who are 'no good'. No one really knows what is meant by that...

• Triplets || Groups in which KEYZ work. There are three sets of Triplets: Black, Grey and White. PEACEMAKERS of higher ranks are in charge of them.

• The ABYSS || The prison in which JOKERZ and GHOULS are kept in. 

• The BASE || The place where PEACEMAKERS, KEYZ and TORCHES work, live, train, etc. The ABYSS is located under the BASE. 

• The LOST FOREST || This forest is literaly lost, no one can find it just like that. It is watched over by PEACEMAKERS. 

• LOCKETS || A piece of jewelry that a KEY guards. The LOCKET is a form of the TORCHES heart; if it's broken, the TORCH dies. 

• Humans || ...Normal people [?] who die and might become a TORCH, or a reborn KEY... Quite an obvious one..
