Demons

Description

Just something I wrote for my friend on twitter, after she gave me a prompt.

Copied from my FF.net account and rescanned for typos, of course.
Please do not accuse me of plagarism - I don't really want to wake up to things saying 'you copied this from so-and-so', because I am that so-and-so. =n=

Disclaimer: I do not own TVXQ/DBSK/THSK, SM Entertainment, or any of the works cited/mentioned herewithin this work of fiction. The storyline is all that I own, at least in basics.

Foreword

Survivor. It wasn't a word he'd ever use for himself. Truth be told, he felt like a total failure - everything was his fault. The split in the Dong Bang members more than anything was what he blamed himself for. Though he hadn't been leader, as the eldest member it had been his job to take care of everyone else. To make sure things were always smooth sailing. It was his responsibility to make sure ChangMin didn't skip meals by accident, his responsibility to make sure YunHo didn't make a fool of himself as leader, his job to ensure that JunSu wasn't really left out, his job to see to it that YooChun was always okay (gods forbid the poor guy run into another wall after getting sick from ChangMin's cooking again). And yet…he had brought an end to that, just by doing his job. By demanding that they be treated properly, as people and not as slaves, he had easily ensured the breaking of the friendships that meant so very much to him. He had left ChangMin and YunHo to deal with those terrible conditions alone; it was his fault. By doing the very thing he was supposed to.
