"At Dosan Park, please."

Silence remained inside the smoke-smelling taxi as it revved to life. This is my favorite time when driving -- the road is all yours. I drove towards the destination without a word, even if I know it was 5km away. I was so sure that this kid was not at a legal age. What is he doing out in the dingy streets at 2AM in the morning? What if some maniac and erted taxi driver took him instead of me? And his milky face is very head-turning, especially for the thugs roaming at this time of the night. I mean, look at his body! He’s so skinny and frail; I doubt that he ever eats.

"What are you doing at this time of the night? Drinking? Meeting with your girlfriend?", I pried shamelessly.

 As I looked for a response from him in my rear-view mirror, he still kept his gaze on the grim yet soothing views of the smudging and faint lights outside and answered,

"I'm going back to the past."
