you mean Yamada Ryosuke is dating Nishiuchi Mariya?!” The girl asked

“Be quiet! And do you know what else is going on, it’s said that Maya Sakamoto was jealous of the two” replied the other girl

“Really?!”

 

                          These two were students in Horikoshi Gakuen. They are fellow classmates of Yamada Ryosuke.  Though as much as it might seems that they’re gossiping about Yamada Ryosuke, they didn’t know that there was a person behind them, listening to what they’re saying. It was Maya Sakamoto.

 

 

 

 

 

“Honestly! Girls nowadays, are so…so barbaric!” she thought “But even though they are dating, it doesn’t change the fact that I’m still his friend…” *sighs*

 

“I’ve got to keep it positive and keep my head held high! I don’t want the others to worry about me on this, this is something I have to handle on my own, I don’t really want the others to be burdened by this, I admit that I like Ryo-chan but I can’t do that now that he’s dating Mariya-san. I wish…I wish I could’ve been the first one to be there…”

 

 

 

 

 

So, Maya’s now going in the studio where in they’ll record they’re next single. Maya is part of a famous Japanese girl group where in she’s the lead singer, she also goes to the same school as Yamada and spends her time being with him. So she went in the studio and greeted everybody in the room and putting up a smile for them, so she can hide the fact that she’s being troubled by these thoughts.

 

 

 

“Ohayo Maya-chan!!!” shouted Ueda Tatsuya of Kat-tun along with Nakamaru Yuichi

 

 

“Ah! Ohayo, Ueda-kun and Maru-chan!” Maya greeted and smiled and soon walks over to her other group mates leaving Ueda and Nakamaru on the other corner.

 

“Oi, Ueda”

“hmm?”

“Why is it that I have the feeling that she’s smiling fakingly on us?”

“It’s probably because of Yama-chan and Mariya-san.”

“Is there something wrong with them?”

“No, not really. It’s just that they’re dating and Maya likes Yamada so, basically she has to let go of him somehow.”

“Why didn’t she just confess her feelings towards Yamada?”
“It’s because, it’s been a long time since Yamada likes Mariya-san. So they now finally have each other leaving Maya-chan along the way.”

“You know, it surprises me how you know all of this Ueda.” Nakamaru said as he glared at Ueda

“You know news nowadays, spread like flocking birds that easily lands on the trees.”

“What the heck does that suppose to mean?”

“Maru, Maru, Maru, you’re still as childish as ever even though you’re the oldest member in our group.

“Ryo-chan!” Maya cheerfully called as Yamda faces her and smiles

 

 

 

 

 

 

             They were always the closest in all of the boys and girls in the school. Even if it’s at a concert they both never miss each others, concerts ever since they met. Many people thought that they would end up being a couple until one day…

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Maya-chan!” called Yamada

 

 

 

“Yes?”

 

 

“I want you to meet someone.” Yamada said as he puts on a gentle smile

 

“Who is it?” soon enough Yamada opened the door, and there came out a girl about the same age as Yamada, with long and dark hair with bangs flowing down on her forehead making her eyes stand out. She was truly beautiful.

“This is Nishiuchi Mariya. You know her, right?”

“Yeah…she from your drama Scrap Teacher and also a Nicola model.”

“You’ve been researching!”
“Of course!”

“I want to introduce her to you first”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m dating, Nishiuchi Mariya.” After saying this Maya was surprised but quickly got over it and soon wishing them good luck on they’re relationship. She was heart broken. She regretted the fact that she never told Yamada how she felt and now she just dealt with the fact that she and Yamada aren’t meant to be.

                   Hey! Say! JUMP are having a concert at Tokyo Dome next week. Maya already got her ticket for the concert. Today was a Saturday and she helped Yamada and Mariya with their secret date. Sure, Mariya was always talking to Yamada it made Maya want Ryosuke more than she ever did. It wasn’t long before Yamada put his eyes at Maya to see if she was doing alright behind them, by the way she’s walking she looks like a stalker but Yamada talked to her with a gentle smile to make her feel comfortable. Soon enough, Maya started laughing because of Yamada. When Mariya saw this she quickly got irritated and she always tries to talk to Yamada to prevent him from being close to Maya. When Maya knew what she was doing she just ignored the both of them to let them be closer in their relationship. And this continued their dates with Maya.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                    Hey! Say! JUMP Concert

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Alright minna!! We’ll be ready in 10 minutes!” the producer announced

 

 

 

“Alright I better be ready!! Ganbattemas!” Yamada said to himself to boost  up his courage. Maya was allowed to go backstage to Hey! Say! JUMP, she was approaching from behind Yamada. Yamada on the other hand doesn’t know that she was coming from behind that’s why when she tapped Yamada’s shoulder, Yamada got surprised.

 

 

“Ahh!! Maya-chan! Konnichiwa !” Yamada greeted

 

”Konnichiwa, Suke-chan!!” Maya cheerfully said

“Ahh~ She’s cute…” Yuto said from behind

“Yuto-kun, you’re at it again…” Keito irritatingly said

“What? She really is cute.” He replied

“Every girl you see is cute for you >.>” Keito said

“She’s different.”

“Easy for you to say, since every girl for you is cute..”

“I told you she’s different!!”

“Yeah, yeah. Whatever, gomen Maya-chan about Yuto-kun, he’s always like that so if you would excuse us.”

“It’s alright I don’t mind him here.” Maya said and put a smile on her face

“Oh…alright…” Keito shyingly said as he blushed

“Now, you’re finding her cute Keito!!!” Yuto protested

“Will you shut up!”  Keito yelled as the others laughed

“Suke-chan?”

“Hmm?”

“Ganbatte!! I know you’ll do great in the concert just do your very best, ne?” Maya cheered him as Yamada blushed at what she said

*dokI* *doki*” What on earth is this? Why am I feeling this way about Maya-chan? I’ve never…felt this with Mariya-san before…but why now? Why Maya…my heart’s beating so fast when she’s around…I can’t help it”

“Anou, Suke-chan? Daijoubu?”

“Ah! Gomen, Thank you very much for that” Yamada smiled as she smiled

“MINNA!! GANBATTE NE!!!” Maya shouted at the other members as they replied,

“HAI!!” and smiled at Maya Yuto was drooling over Maya along with Keito. While the others practiced their lyrics. Maya said her goodbyes to everyone and went back at the front row near the stage. Everyone had a good time; Yamada was always looking over at Maya’s place as though keeping an eye on her. In the end, Maya went backstage to thank everyone for the good time and giving everyone smiles everyone smiled back. It wasn’t long before she left them.

 “Hey Yama-chan?” Yuto asked

“Yeah?”

“I was just wondering, why is it that you never dated Maya-chan? Even though you spend more time with her rather than Nishiuchi-san”

*sighs* “I guess…I just saw, more of Mariya-san than Maya. To tell you the truth, along the way in my relationship with Mariya-san I somewhat liked Maya more. I thought that she was only looking to me as her big brother, that’s why I thought that maybe it wouldn’t work out if it was Maya and me. Like Ryutaro, she’s still a child and I don’t think she’ll hold on to me long enough that is if we end up being together.” Yamada replied

“Do you like her?” Yuto asked

“I…*sighs* I don’t know.”

“If you don’t like her… can I have her?”

“What?! What are you talking about, Yuto? I mean we both know that…” Yamada faltered over his words when he saw Yuto serious

“Yama-chan, I’m serious, I…I like Maya-chan. You know when I heard that you and Nishiuchi-san are dating I thought that I may have a chance with her. But now that you’re unsure if you like her or not there’s a possibility that you might really like her. And I don’t want that to happen.”

“No way…Yuto likes Maya? How can I not see it before?! He was always getting the attention of Maya, everything he says about her, that she’s cute or she’ll make a great girlfriend someday, was all…true… Yuto was serious about Maya. But, why on earth do I feel this way? Like something heavy inside my chest…there’s no way that I possibly like…Maya, could there be? I mean could I really like…her? After now that she’s been on our dates and the way that she always supported me and Mariya? It feels weird…I don’t know what to do right now…”

“You understand that, don’t you Yama-chan?” Yuto asked as he put up a gentle smile

“Well, I…”

 

 

 

 

 

                                              ~Yamada’s POV with Mariya~

 

“Hey, Mariya-san?” Yamada asked as he was getting ready to go to some place like the mall or the park

“Hmm?” Mariya replied

“I was just wondering about our date on Saturday, why don’t we take Maya with us? Since, we might be….”

“WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT GIRL HAVE TO DO WITH US??!!!” Mariya screamed at Yamada and dropped her bag to show how much she’s angry at him

“WHY ON EARTH DO YOU KEEP ON INSISTING THAT SHE COME WITH US EVERYTIME WE HAVE OUR DATES?!!” she yelled

“Basically, because people will notice that the two of us are dating. And once people know that were dating we’ll be expelled from school and besides that our parents will scold us of this matter.” Yamada calmly said

“So?! I So what if the paparazzi are there so what if they saw us?! What does that have to do with Maya?”

“It doesn’t have anything to do with her; I just don’t want you to get hurt every time the fans attack you on your website because of me that’s why we’ll make it look like were not dating at all.”

“I understand what you’re doing for us Ryosuke-kun. It’s just that I always felt that you loved her more than I am.”

“What?! She’s like a sister to me why would you think that?”

“Because she’s worth more than I am…” Mariya glumly replied

“None sense!! That’s-“ he paused as Mariya kissed him on his cheek

“Mariya…”

“Ryosuke, do you still love me the way you did when we just started?”

“I …” Yamada faltered as Mariya sadly smiled

“You love Maya... don’t’ you Yamada?” she asked

“…Yes”

“You’ve always loved her, I know I always saw. But somehow you confessed to me than her.”

“I wasn’t sure about my feelings back then. But then I found you standing out from most of the girls at school, I don’t know why but I had feelings that easily come out because I’m with you.”

“But with Maya, you’re always yourself around her. I found myself jealous of her because she can make you feel that way than I can, you liked me because I was one of the most beautiful girls around the school and because of that you found yourself liking me.”

“Yes. Gomen, Mariya-san…”

“Daijoubu…I knew from the beginning…I found myself looking into you a different way that’s why I held longer…” Mariya had her arms around Yamada and cried. Yamada hugged her back so that she’ll feel much better. It wasn’t long before she broke away from the hug and wiped her tears.

“Are you ok?” Yamada asked

“Yeah, now go! Go to Maya and tell her how you really feel.” She smiled as Yamada nodded and smiled back at her. And he soon went on his way to the studio where Maya was recording

 

 

 

 

 

                               ~Maya’s POV at the studio~

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Alright, minna! Good work!!” the recorder said

 

 

 

“Minna Ja ne!!” Maya shouted

 

 

“Hai!! Take care Maya!!” the others replied as Maya went her way home. It was already dark about 6:00 in the evening. Maya only walks all the way from the studio to her home for exercise. After 15 minutes of travel, Yamada got in the studio where Maya recorded. He ran as fast as he can to know if Maya was still there. When he got in, he quickly asked almost everyone where Maya was everyone answered that she already went home so, he thanked them and quickly ran to the way where her house is.

 

 

 

 

 

 

As Maya was walking her way to her house she soon passed the playground where she and Yamada first met she soon finds herself going to the playground and going over the swings, where they first played together.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*FLASHBACK!!

 

 

 

*Cries* “Are you ok?” the little boy asked

 

*cries* “I…Fell of the swings…” the girl said as the boy stared at her. He soon takes out something in his pocket and hands it over to the girl

“Here, wipe your tears it’s bad if you cry all day, you’ll get ugly.” So she took the handkerchief and wiped her tears as the little boy looked over her wound soon enough he took the handkerchief he gave her and wrapped it around her wound

“Does it still hurt?”

“Just a bit”*sniff* she replied as he smiled at her

“Now give me a smile, to show me you’re really feeling better already.” She started to give him a soft and gentle smile as tears are still filling up her eyes but she held it back just for him to see.

“There! Now you don’t feel any aches!” the boys smiled back as he held her hand over the swings and told her to play with him. As they played the boy soon asked,

“What you’re name?”

“Ma-Maya, Sakamoto Maya!”

“Nice to meet you Maya-chan!!” he cheerfully said

“Is it okay to call you Maya?

“Ye-yeah!”

“I’m Ryosuke, Yamada Ryosuke!”

“Suke…can I call you Suke??”

“Eh? Isn’t that a bit ugly?”

“Nope! It’s cute, I like it that way” she smiled

“Then, I’m Suke!” he said and smiled soon enough both of them started laughing and had a good time with each other.

 

“I missed that…I missed the fact that I called him that way… I missed every single thing about him when he wasn’t with Mariya-san…I…I…” she soon started crying because of Yamada. It wasn’t long before Yamada saw someone over the playground by the swings. There was someone who was crying. He went over the swings to see who that was when he was near that person he called out,

“Maya? Maya is that you?”

To Maya’s surprise, she quickly held her head up and looks at the person who’s calling her. When she saw Yamada she quickly got up the swings and hugged him.

“Yamada, Yamada!” she called

“It’s okay, I’m here, I’m here.” Yamada comfortingly said as he hugged her tightly

When Maya stopped crying she told Yamada how she felt about him for a long time to Yamada’s surprise he also confessed his not knowing she feels the same way about him. They were very happy Yamada soon gives her another hug letting her know how he really feels. After a few years, it was known to the public that they were dating, as for Nishiuchi Mariya she ended up having Chinen as her boyfriend while Yuto was turned down by Maya he is now dating Shida Mirai.
