FT Island - Even If It's Not Necessary

“Thank god I got a heater in my car” Gikwang try to open up the conversation.

You remained silent.

He continued “err.. about last time.. I want to apologize—“

“Don’t.” you stated “Don’t apologize from me. Even if you say it, I don’t know if I can forgive you or not.” you said looking through out the window.

Gikwang lowered his head down.

“Then why did you came all the way long here… to meet me?” he spoke. His voice was blank.

“I just thought that you might be a stupid for waiting me in the rain like before” you faked a laugh with your teary eyes.

“I’ll see you at the river on 3.00 p.m!” Gikwang shouted at you who’s already in the car.

You nodded and gave him a heart signed with your hand. He smiled sweetly at you.

 “Umma, wake me up before 3.00 p.m okay?” you asked your mom as she busily rinsed the dishes that you’ve washed.

“dae~” she answered.

You lie on the couch and fallen asleep.

It was raining that day, and it’s already 3.10 p.m.

You woke up at 3.20 p.m by the lighting sound.

You looked at your watch “oppa!” and hurriedly grab the umbrella and went to the river.

You search him with your white umbrella along the riverside until you found someone who’s really soaked by the rain.

“Oppa!” you ran to him

“you-ah..” his smiled eyes never failed to melt your heart.

“Why are you still here?” you scold him

“I’m waiting for you” he took the umbrella from your hand.

“I’m sorry..” you cried

“Why are you crying?” he gazed at your face.

“I made you waiting for me in the rain. Like stupid..” you sobbed again

“Waiting for you is not stupid, it’s an honor to me” he kiss the top of your head

“Waiting for you is not stupid, it’s an honor to me” he suddenly said. The exactly words he said to you not long ago.

"Why are you doing this to me?" you spoked softly.

"I want you to give me a chance.." he looked at you who is still looking outside the windows.

There were an awkward silent till you said "I don't think I can gave you another chance."

You open the door and ran in the rain heading to your home.

"I'm home" you said and put your pink slippers on.

"Why are you so wet? Where are you from? Are you playing with the rain?" your mothers asked worriedly.

"Mom.. Mom.. cool down.." you said to your mom. "Hyunnie-ah! bring me a towel.. I'm cold to death.." you shivered.

"you-ah why are you so wet?"

You heard a familiar voice from the kitchen and glance around. You widen your eyes. "Kwangmin-sunbae?"

Kwangmin smile and waved at you.

"You didn't told me that your mother and your mother are friends" you sat on the kitchen counter.

"I just knew it today too." he said while rinsing off the salad.

"And the biggest question is, why are you here?" you asked him.

"I want to prepare something for my mother but she doesn't supposed to know this.. Since your mother and my mother are friends she agreed to let me cook here." he explained

"Let me help you" you smiled.

"o-okay." he startled because of your smile.

-- 30 minutes later --

"Done! wahh~ you're a great cooker sunbae" you praised him.

"Aniya. Thanks for your help. Do you have a paper and pen?" he asked but you didn't answer. You just stared blankly at the salad that both of you've prepared. He realized that you were thinking about something.

"you..?" he waved at you *what's she thinking about?* Kwangmin thought curiously.

"Aniya.. But what are you thinking about?" he asked as he packed the dish that both of you've been prepared.

You just shook your head off.

"I'll get going first." he said.

"o-okay." you said and sneezed.

"tsk." he chuckled and ruffled your hair. "Drink the hot tea. bye" he waved.

"Hot tea?" you blinked and saw a glass of hot tea on the kitchen's counter with a letter attached to it.
