Word on the Street...(teaser)
Sew CuteEverything seemed less bright
Everyone was all gray in their eyes
just the same…nothing new
"Lets go to the club,"
"Who here has time like that? We own a hostel our life is for the happiness of our customers," grumbled a male sitting behind the front desk in the lobby. The one who'd suggested going to the club, sighed
"Just a suggestion, goodness," his words hid in the form of a mumble. Everyone had not an ounce of peppiness in them. All of these brothers were---dissatisfied.
"Don't mind him, he's just mad because that girl left him," said one sweeping the already spotless ground. The male behind the front desk snared
"Like you can talk. You were crying when that girl dumped you,"
"I'm so tired of you!" he abandoned the broom, throwing it to the ground in a huff
"Bring it!" the boy rolled up his sleeves and was leaving his seat behind the lobby desk,
"HEY! YOU TWO STOP IT!" the peace maker of the six brothers intervened before they could make a step closer to the other.
"Don't hold me back! Get him, he always has something smart to say!" he struggled to get past the peace making male.
"You two are so selfish. You're not the only ones who go through it. By now you'd think you'd grow thick skin, and not expect much from the girls you meet. Reality is that we are stuck here. Like you said, our life is centered around the happiness of the customers. How can you make someone else happy if you're around here fighting and sulking?!" his lecture made the two turn red in the face.
"What ever," grumbled the one who had been sweeping. He walked off, contemplating if he should walk right out the doors into Neo-Seoul city. Deciding against it, he disappeared from their sights after walking down a hallway. Silence shrouded the room. They all did meaningless work, and suddenly a couple bounded from the elevator
"Where would you like to go to day darling?" asked the tall male with cute glasses, he looked down on his fragile girlfriend. She held his hand tightly, smiling to himself
"I don't know. Anywhere is fine," her eyes looked endearingly into his. He smiled
"What did I do to deserve a girl like you?" he wrapped his arms around her, laughing. The six brothers tried to keep their eyes off the happy couple…but they longed to do that for a girl…smile at one like that.
"I love you," she told him. That was the icing on the cake. The youngest of the boys, clenched the pillows angrily. It wasn't his favorite phrase to hear. Finally the couple left through the doors. It became tense in the lobby, as the boys thought to themselves.
"We need girlfriends," said the peace-making brother.
"I agree,"
"Word on the street is that…it's possible to make one," that caught their attention. The peace maker grinned
"You just need the right ingredients,"
"Who told you this?"
"Heard about it. Talked with someone,"
"Okay I'm interested, what do we have to do?" the male behind the front desk asked in utter amusement. The peace maker first smiled
"First you need, an item you really like,"
