was happily humming to myself as I walked down the halls through the Akatsuki lair. For some reason, I just felt so refreshed and so happy today. A tall blond stepped out of his room as my smile broadened more. "Deidei!" I cheered wrapping my arms around him. He shoved me off and coninued to walk down the hall. "Deidei?" I questioned. "Leave me alone, twerp." He snapped angrily walking into the open cave area. "Jeese, what's his problem?" I asked aloud after the large boulder slambed down after his form. "Did you forget something, ~~~~"." I spun aroun as Itachi's body hovered behind me. "No, I don't thik so." Boy did I feel so stupid. 'Think, what was yesterday's date?" He asked me. "May fith and OH MY GOD I DID NOT!" I gasped rather loudly. All he did was nod. Dark clouds loomed over my head as my face sunk into my skull. "What am I going to do? What am I going to do!?" I asked franticly tugging at my hair. Itachi left without a word. 'Wow, great help.' I thought thinking long and hard. "TOOOOOBIIIII!" I called. He appeared in front of me in an instant. "Yes, ~~~~-chan!?" Heasked. "Tobi, bea good boy and keep Deidara-sempai out of the lair untill sunset. Then take him to theriver's side. You know the one with the large flat rock in the center." I stated. He energeticly nodded. "OKAY ~~~~-CHAN!" He cheered, buzzing out of the hideout. "Now, time to get started." I smirked carging into the kitchin.

~Deidara's POV~

"Hurry! This way, sempai!" Tobi was draggingme thouout theentire forest, searching for something. I would have been up and gone if it wasn't for the 200 yen he gave me to stay with him all day. Idiot. "Here we are-sempai!" He shoved me through a patch of bushes to an open clearing by the river's edge. "Tobi, what theheck was that for, hmm!?" I hollered turning back to him, but nothing was there. I looked ahead of me. it was quiet, too quiet. I scrambled bac to my feet as a flicker of light caught my eye. "What the?" I leaped ovr to the flat rock largeenoughfor about three people at the most. In the center was a cake with 20 candles aligned around the edge. In the center, written in iceing, were the words, "Happy Blated Birthday, Deidei." I took a step back from it. 'Okay, ths is just strange.' I thoh looking all around me just then, two small arms wrapped aorund me from beind. My bodyfroze to a stiff board. "i'm sorry, Deidei. I didn't mean to forget your birthday." I closed my eyes as my brow furrowed. "I told you to leave me alone, hm." She continued hugging my body. "Not untill you blow out your candles." She reoved her arms and walked around me. The absence of heat made my body shutter. Her eyes fell to the floor, away from mine. I got to my knees and blew out the candles till only the moon served as our light. "Thank you." She whispered about to leap back to the river's edge. I grabbed her wrist before she could. "What about my present, hm?" My eyes were shaddowed, but my smirk was crystal clear. Shefell silent for a moment. "Okay, close your eyes." Her eyes were, again, darting some direction to get away from mine. Keeping my hand on her wrist, I closed my eyes. A breeze of col air brushed against my face, pushing my hair behind my sholders. I could feel her body sit on her knees in front of me. The corner of my lips twitched as she started to come closer and closer. Till finally somethig warm was pressed against my mouth. I smiled and kissed back. A stuffled giggle made me peak out of one eye, then pull away quickly. "What the heck, hm!?" I hollared franticly wiping my lips. The pupply in her hand it's lips as she tried not to break down into. "Aww, come on Deidei. He's a real looker." She laughed as I sent cold glares at her. I removed my hand from her wrist and stood up. "Whatever, hm." Just as I was about to leap off, I was spun around as my lips crashe into something warm and soft. I opened both of my eyes to ~~~~'s closed ones. Her lips slightly curled to a smirk. The puppy was on the ground sniffing ll around our feet. I slowly eased into it and wrapped my arms around the small of her back. Her hands s up over my chest to around my neck. My eyes fluttered to a close. She lightly broke away and smiled in satisfaction. "You're better than I thought." I chuckled and hugged her close. "I'm sorry I forgot, Deidei." She whispered. her nose burowed into my neck. "it's okay, hm." I whispered as a small sound made my ears twitch. We looked down as the puppy looked up at us. Face smothered with cake. Sweatdrops leaked off my forhead. ~~~~ just giggled to herself and snagged some iceing with her finger. "Happy blated birthday, Deidei." Shesmiled as our lips pressed together once more withfingers entertwined with eachother.
