Author's note: OKAY!!! I was BORED... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL... I was so so so upset that I didn't even have the chance to see SUMMARY 2011 this year so I just imagined Chii and Shida fighting over one gorgeous thing!!! mwahahahah... (*randomness*??)

Anyway, I hope someone is brave enough to read this FAILED  FIC... >.< sorry if I FAILED you again...

 

“Yama-chan!!! You promised to treat me ice cream this week end right?” Shida pouted within the sight of her boyfriend.

“hmmm…”
 

Before even managing to answer, Chinen appeared out of nowhere and tapped Yamada’s shoulder.
 

“No no no… Yama-chan will come with me this week end.” He said proudly.
 

“ehh?? Am I?”
 

“Hai… You promised me remember? We’re going to visit Ohno-kun.”
 

“Yabai… I actually forgot about that.” Yamada answered almost immediately.
 

“But-“ Shida who seems to be forgotten was eager to get her boyfriend’s attention.
 

“I’m sorry Mirai-chan… I guess Yama-chan is going with me… haha” Chinen laughed sarcastically at Mirai as if enjoying his torture to his best friend’s lover.
 

“Chotto Chii~~” Yamada interrupted… “Mirai-chan can come along too right? We’ll grab some ice cream after we visit Ohno-kun.”
 

“ehh?”
 

“That’s right!!! I can come…” Shida pulled off a cheeky smile against Chinen who seems to be bothered about the idea.

 

WINNER = Shida Mirai

Round two…
 

“Yama-chan… You’ll treat me ice cream too right?” Chinen said happily while looking at about 10 flavours of ice cream before him…
 

“I like this one…” Chinen and Shida echoed each other’s voices in perfect sync. They actually chose the same flavour of ice cream… Triple chocolate.
 

“Hey! Don’t copy me…” Shida said in a childish voice.
 

“You’re the one who’s copying me…” replied Chii.
 

“Chotto… Don’t quarrel here… Everyone’s looking at us!!!” Yamada said loud enough to make them stop talking…
 

“Two triple chocolate and one strawberry ice cream please” Yamada ordered their snack as Shida and Chinen seems to be busy at each other’s existence.
 

“No no… I like the same flavour as Yama-chan’s.” Shida said suddenly.
 

“I’ll have the same too…” Chinen responded to the remark like accepting a challenge.
 

“I thought you both like chocolate flavour?” Yamada answered; confused.
 

“Since Yama-chan like strawberry flavour, I’ll have that instead.”
 

“Me too…”
 

“What’s going on with you two? Are you guys okay?” Yamada faced his girlfriend and best friend with a strange look… “Okay then… we’ll all have strawberry flavour… Just please be in peace.”

 

WINNER = DRAW

Round three…

 

“ahh… Yama-chan… You already finished yours? Here… you can have some of mine.” Shida who was sitting right next to Yamada offered him her ice cream.
 

“ahh… You can have some of mine instead.” Chinen imitated Shida’s actions.
 

Shida pouted within this remark.
 

“I’m okay thank you… I’m quite full already.” Yamada answered still wondering about his company’s strange behaviour.
 

“I insist Yama-chan… Just have some.” One said.
 

“Here, I’ll give you mine too…” said the other.
 

“AHHHHH!!! Chotto… You guys don’t like your ice creams anymore??” Yamada shouted suddenly.
 

He then carried two cups of ice creams away from their table and headed towards the two dogs which look like Kuu and Cookie.
 

“Let’s feed them to the cute dogs instead” he proclaimed then handed the two cups to the dogs that seems to be enjoying it. He then patted them with all enthusiasm, leaving Chinen and Shida dumb founded in their table.
 

“Mou~ we lost to a dog…” Chinen and Shida pouted to each other.

 

WINNER = DOGS!!!

 

“Chii…” Yamada called Chinen suddenly after walking Shida home.
 

“Can I talk to you for a moment?”
 

“Sure… What is it?”
 

“Why do you suddenly act strange to Mirai-chan?” Yamada asked with a serious face.
 

“ehh? Am I?” he replied innocently.
 

“Un~ Please don’t act like you don’t know anything…”
 

“*sigh* do you really have to know, Yama-chan?” Chinen sulked down the nearest bench without looking at his best friend.
 

Yamada, on the other hand just remained silent waiting for his best friend’s explanation.
 

“hmmm… It’s just that… you seem to be distant to us now a days. Since you had her as your girlfriend, you rarely hang out with us.” Chinen answered calmly still not looking at the slightly taller boy.
 

“Best friends come first you know… Besides, I miss hanging out with you.” He continued.
 

By this, Yamada just can’t help but to smile on his state.
 

“Baka!!! Are you not happy for me?” Yamada moved closer to the younger boy and patted him on the head… “You don’t like Mirai-chan for me?”
 

“It’s not that… I just…” he replied without knowing what to say next.
 

“You’re both special to me… You know that right?” Ryosuke smiled and continue patting Chinen’s head… “Please be nice to her…” he continued.
 

“Okay then… I’ll be nice. But just a bit.” He answered then smiled back at the older boy’s approach…

 

Round four…
 

“Moshi Moshi... Yama-chan?” Shida answered excitedly after seeing who the caller is on her hand phone.
 

“Gomen ne Mirai-chan… *cough* I can’t come to school today… *cough*I think I’m sick.” Yamada said faintly on the other end of the line.
 

Shida showed a panic face and shouted in the middle of the school corridor… “ehh?? You’re SICK??!”
 

“What?? Yama-chan is SICK?????!!!” Chinen suddenly came out of nowhere after hearing his rival’s proclamation.
 

He then grabbed Shida’s phone and talked to Yamada.
 

“Yama-chan… Are you okay? You’re not dying are you? I’ll go there as soon as school’s finished” he declared over the mouth piece.
 

“That’s right Yama-chan… We’ll be there as soon as possible…”

*after class*

*Yamada Residence*
 

“I’ll get you some warm water…” Chinen offered.
 

“I’ll cook some porridge for you.” Shida continued.
 

“No guys… You don’t have to do that… *cough* My mum did that earlier.” Yamada answered… “Thank you for visiting me.”
 

“What are you talking about?! I’m your girlfriend… Of course I’ll visit you…” Shida sat comfortably on her boyfriend’s bed and pinch his cheek softly.
 

“I’m your best friend. And best friends are the best people in the world. Girlfriends can leave you BUT best friends don’t.” Chinen said insultingly stealing glances at Shida’s reaction.
 

Yamada immediately sensed the awkward atmosphere.
 

“Mr. Chinen Yuri… What’s that supposed to mean?” Shida stood up and faced Chinen… “I’m not gonna leave Yama-chan… EVER!!!” she continued.
 

“Did that bother you Mirai-chan?? At least I’m always with Yama-chan… not out there acting all busy with other actors…” Chinen replied.
 

“ehh? That’s work, you know… I didn’t choose to be busy to be away from Yama-chan…” Shida defended herself…
 

“Ehh?? That’s-“
 

Before even letting Chinen finish his reply, Yamada made his way into their conversation to avoid any more shouting and insulting that may actually lead to -kicking.
 

“CHOTTO MINNA!!! I’m sick you know… I need to get some peace and quiet!!!” Yamada said, irritated.
 

“Okay then… You’re probably tired already Yama-chan. It’s probably best if we leave now.” Shida said with a weary voice.
 

“That’s right… It’s probably best if Mirai-chan go…” Chinen said with a cheeky smile that seems to have bothered Shida even more.
 

“ehh??? You’re not going??” she replied with an annoyed expression on her face.
 

“I’m staying here to keep him company…”
 

“What? Why do you have to stay and I leave??” Shida said in almost a shout.
 

“You can’t stay here with him, can you?” Chinen replied.
 

“And why not?”
 

“Because you’re a girl!!! You’re not allowed to stay here for the night. Your parents will be worried.” Chinen proclaimed a point.
 

By this, Shida cannot think of a way to counter Chinen’s remark. She therefore declared that she lost. She clearly knows that she can’t stay to look after him for the night. Mrs. Yamada might not even let her stay for another hour because it’s getting late.
 

Shida just sighed within the thought.
 

Having seen this, Yamada stood up and approached his girlfriend.
 

“You’ll visit me tomorrow ne?” he whispered and then held Shida’s hand.
 

“Hai…”
 

Yamada lightly kissed Shida’s forehead and bid her good bye.

 

WINNER = CHINEN YURI

 

 Round five…

 

“Okay Chinen Yuri!!! Let’s settle this once and for all…” Shida almost shouted in the middle of the class room and proclaimed a challenge.
 

“HAH! You actually have the guts to challenge me? Whatever it is, I ACCEPT!!!” he replied confidently without even knowing the actual contest.
 

“YOSH!! Whoever gets the highest score in our Math test WINS!!”
 

“That’s it? NO PROBLEM!!! What’s the price?” Chinen enthusiastically said.
 

All the people stared at Shida and Chinen challenging each other. People around them remained quiet and showed anticipation.
 

This includes Yamada, Yuto, Ryutaro and Keito who were sat quietly on their chairs bewildered by their behaviour.
 

“What’s my reward if I win??” Chinen continued paraphrasing his previous statement.
 

Shida remained quiet for a few seconds and thought.
 

Finally she answered… “Yamada Ryosuke”
 

By this, all the people around cheered and actually thought that the challenge is truly an exciting one.
 

Upon hearing who the price was, Yamada immediately stood up on his chair and tried to stop them.
 

“WAIT WAIT WAIT!!! I’m the price?? WHY ME? You guys must be kidding…”
 

“DEAL!!!”
 

The next thing Yamada saw is that his girlfriend and best friend are shaking each other’s hands with such agreement, completely ignoring him.
 

“This is not a good idea” he thought to himself.

 

--
 

*results time*
 

“I actually think that test was easy…” Chinen boast.
 

“hah… same. I’m sure a certain individual will lose” Shida sniggered and then faced Yamada… “Don’t worry Yama-chan… I won’t lose.”
 

-
 

“Yosh… I will now say the results of our test this morning. Please come forward to collect your papers after I said your score.” Mr. Tanaka, their maths teacher calmly said to his class.
 

After hearing this, both Shida and Chinen eagerly sat down straight unto their respective seats and waited to be called.
 

It seems like they are the only ones in the class excited enough to know their results…
 

“Chinen Yuri…” Mr. Tanaka shouted… “94 out of 100”
 

“Sugoii Chii…” Yuto said which made Chinen give off the biggest smile as he collect his paper.
 

“Shida Mirai” Mr. Tanaka continued incidentally after letting Chinen take his seat.
 

Shida’s heart thumped twice as fast as normal. She definitely doesn’t want to lose to him.
 

“94 out of 100” their teacher continued.
 

“WHAT???” both Chinen and Shida shouted to the whole class… “WE GOT THE SAME SCORE??”
 

“Oi!! Can you two be quiet…” Mr. Tanaka told them off.

*after class*
 

“Since we got the same score, how do you think we should settle this?” Chinen called out to Shida.
 

“You guys are still at it?” Yamada protested.
 

“I also want this to end…” Shida replied ignoring Yamada.
 

Shida stayed quiet for about 5 seconds.
 

“How about we play ‘Rock-paper-scissors’ instead?” she suddenly suggested.
 

“Rock-paper-scissors?? DEAL!!!” without even hesitating, Chinen agreed to the idea.
 

“Ready?” Shida asked and took her position.
 

“What?? Hey minna~ don’t decide with ‘rock-paper-scissors’!!! Is that all I mean to you? I somehow feel depressed.” Yamada looked helplessly to Shida and Chinen who seems to be enjoying each other’s company.
 

On the other hand, Yuto, Keito and Ryutaro seem to be enjoying themselves along the side lines. This group is actually cheering for the both of them leaving Yamada more helpless.
 

“Saisho wa guu, jankenpon!!” the two echoed each other’s voices.
 

On the first attempt, both Chinen and Shida threw scissors… then rock… then rock… then paper.
 

“Saisho wa guu, jankenpon!!” they said together as their 5^th attempt.

“Wahhhh!!! I won… I can’t believe it!!” someone said… “I can’t believe I did it.”
 

Within this remark, Chinen pouted and looked down.

 

Shida, on the other hand, jumped for joy and immediately hugged Yamada who was standing a few centimetres away from her.

However, Shida’s excitement vanished when she saw Chinen’s disappointed expression.

 

She then tapped Chinen shoulders and said: “Don’t worry Chii… I’ll let you borrow Yama-chan once in while… If you want, you can have him every time I have work.” She said with a laugh.
 

Chinen pouted more.

 

“How about this… I’ll help you with Umika-chan… You like her, right?” she continued whispering; not letting anyone to hear.
 

“ehh?? How did you know????” Chinen replied with face completely red.
 

By this, Shida just can’t help but to laugh… “Of course I know… Umika-chan is my best friend… I actually think she likes you too…”
 

“Really?”

 ----
 

“It seems like you and Chii are getting along fine now, ne?” Yamada said while walking beside Shida.

“Un~ “

“Yokatta… I thought you two are going be like that forever… I just can’t take it.”
 

“Demo… If you were to choose, will you choose Chinen than me?” Shida suddenly asked seriously which made Yamada uncomfortable within the situation.

“ehh??”
 

Yamada struggled to answer. Shida seems to be waiting for a serious response.
 

“Chii is my best friend… You’re my girlfriend… You know both of you are special to me, right?” Yamada answered after a few moments of silence reminding himself that he actually said the same thing to Chinen.
 

Within this serious answer, Shida just laughed at her boyfriend.
 

“Of course I know that… I’m only joking. Besides, I know I can’t compare myself to Chii. He knows you better than I do…”
 

“BUT!!! Since I won in our ‘rock-paper-scissors’ game… you have to treat me ice cream again…” she continued still smiling at him.
 

“I still can’t believe you bet me with ‘rock-paper-scissors’”
 

Now, it’s Yamada’s turn to pout.
