Myungsoo wandered emotionlessly into the airport clutching tightly onto his round ticket back to Korea not wanting to remember what he just experienced. He handed the woman at the check-in his ticket ignoring her concerned stares that was directed to his busted lip and damp wet hair. He didn’t want to think about it anymore. He was done and over with his now ex-fiancee, done with feeling like he’s always the one at fault, done with working hard day and night to give his former lover everything that they wanted, done with always trying to make the best out of their relationship but coming to no avail, and done with just feeling so ty about every single thing.

“Thanks,” He mumbled after she handed the ticket back to him and quickly left before she could question his appearance. After getting a body check from airport security, he sat down on one of the cold lined up plastic chairs in the waiting area relieved at the silence that filled the airport and that no one was around to witness his broken down state. Tiredly, he leaned forward settling his elbows on his knees as he slumped his head down trying to convince himself that he’s better off this way without his former lover and that he doesn’t need him anymore, that he doesn’t care anymore, and that he deserves so much better. He was not going to sulk about this any longer than he all ready has and will not submit to self pity.

But for some reason in the back of his mind he knew that he still cared deeply and he slightly doubted if he can move on alone. Or if he even has the strength to pull through this alone. As much as he was a strong willed person, he couldn't help but have those thoughts and feelings. He knew that somewhere in his heart that he will still forever love his former fiancee and that somewhere deep, he still indeed cares about what happened. At how he was betrayed and was tossed aside. He took a few moments before leaning back into his seat to relax a bit trying to shake off the those thoughts and feelings when he noticed that a long limbed man who was wearing dark clothing similar to himself sitting a few seats away from him with a deep gaze staring far into the distance of the deserted airport.

The man had his knees folded up to his chest stretching out his expensive looking slacks and he had settled his head on his crossed arms that were resting on top of his knees. He looked so small sitting like that despite his tall lean figure. The man’s gaze looked sad, heart broken, and hurt. It reminded Myungsoo of what he was feeling. The other man looked up and their eyes meeting for a few seconds. The other man was a little taken back from the sudden eye contact but nonetheless he smiled a small smile. Myungsoo couldn’t but help notice the sadness that was still deeply set in the other man’s eyes and opened his mouth slightly to say something but stopped himself when he realized what his body was about to do. The other man’s look was almost relatable and familiar to Myungsoo. For a moment, it felt like they were the only two people in the room despite people starting to un-board from a plane and silence filled the air only between them as they understood each other’s deep sadden eyes. The other man then looked away going back to looking in the distance with the same gaze and Myungsoo also turned away while wondering how everything got to how they are now and if he was ever going to recover from this. For some reason he tried to memorize the man’s face to remember that he’s not alone in this world who was feeling this way. It sort of gave him a bit of hope knowing that he wasn't alone. Even though they had not uttered a single word to each other and are pratcially strangers, they understood deeply that they were sharing the same feelings. The feeling of hurt, lost, betrayal, and most of all… heartbroken.
