That was all that was running through Kevin’s head as he saw a large amount of blood drip from one of the tree branches above. And from the look on Eli’s face… He was thinking the exact same thing.

Suddenly, a body, drenched in blood, fell from above. It was grotesque looking; bones were visibly protruding from the insides and the arms bent in a way arms shouldn’t. Kevin would’ve let out a high pitch scream if Eli didn’t cover his mouth first. After a couple of seconds Kevin nodded his head and Eli removed his hand.

“Eli,” Kevin whispered, glancing at the dead body.

“Yea?”

“Wasn’t that your next door neighbor? The lady with all those cats?”

Eli gave the supposed body of his neighbor a hard look.

“Yep,” he nodded.
