I kissed him. I let my mouth mold into his, and I slide my tongue over his lip. I could feel him hesitate for a moment until, ultimately, he let himself go, and melted against me. It was an innocent kiss. There was nothing seductive or feisty about it. It was just two people sharing a kiss that could, one day, open the door to other opportunities.

All too soon, he pushed me away. I was kind of hurt, but I knew that this was coming. “This is wrong…” he said to me. I looked down at the ground. This was the chance that I had to play it off that I was hurt, and I was a tad bit, but this wasn't about me. This was about him, and his decision.

“I knew this was going to happen. I’m not the type that you want. I'm not the person you’re looking for. I get it. It’s okay. Just go, I’ll be okay.” I said. I didn't want to let my true feelings out, but maybe they were slipping through my tight façade.

I turned to walk away when I felt a strong, yet wavering, hand on my wrist. “Now wait a minute! You didn't let me finish what I was saying,” he spun me around like I was a ragdoll at his disposal. “It’s wrong because we’re both guys, but I never said I wanted to be right.” And he crashed his lips down onto mine. This kiss wasn't like the first one. This one was more eager, more lust filled, than anything. I let him have his chance before I pulled away. I let him taste every corner, nook and cranny, of my mouth before pulling myself away from him. It was his turn to have the look of pain on his face, and his was truer, more pure, than the one that was plastered on my face a moment ago.

“What…I don’t ….I don’t…understand.” He stammered.

“You know this isn't right. Maybe one day it will be, but today is not that day. Go back to your girlfriend. She needs you right now. She needs you more than I do. But do me a favor:  don’t break it off with her too fast. Make sure this is what you want before you make such a rash decision. And if you end up breaking it off, let her down easy. Don’t just tell her that you want to leave because you found someone else, and that other person is a man. Don’t tell her that the reason you want to leave is because you realized that you’re different, and that you probably don’t love her anymore. Don’t leave her because of me. Don’t make up an excuse because you cannot think of another way out. Let things take
