Key sighed for the nth times as he watched SooYoung and EunHyuk laughing together on the corner. Sometimes he smiled when he saw SooYoung laughing until she cried. Key turns his gaze to the door before sighing and stands up from his seat.

“Going somewhere?” Onew asked when he saw his dongsaeng stands up. Key nodded as a replied and looked to where SooYoung and EunHyuk was. Onew turn his gaze and sighed,

“Arraseo. Take your time.” He said. Key shrugged and then pushed his seat behind. He walked to the door silently. Taemin realized his Hyung walked away. He nudged JongHyun beside him who had a chat with Minho. JongHyun raise his eye brows to him, Taemin pointed at Key.

“Is it about SooYoung noona again, Hyung?” Taemin asked to Onew.

“Ne.”

“When will he realize that he loves SooYoung?” JongHyun shook his head

“He realized it, Hyung. He just won’t accept it.” Minho speaks up, “You know? It’s about his past.”

Onew nods, “Yeah. He’s just too afraid to start a new page.”

His dongsaengs shrugged as they sighed in chorus.

Key steps closer to the edge of the tower and grab the barrier. He put his head down and sighed before looking up.

“Why can I not just confess to her?” he muttered to him self. He sighed and shook his head slightly. He’s just tired. He’s tired of being afraid with falling in love things. He’s tired of being stuck with his past and the pain. He’s just tired of being coward. He’s tired of denying his feeling for SooYoung.

“What is this?!” he hissed, “The pain I got before haven’t faded yet and there’s come another pain.” He sighed before continue blaming his self, “This is my fault! If only I wasn’t being a coward this wouldn’t be happening.”

Key put his head down as tears streaming down his face, “I never thought this would hurt this much.” He hissed

“What’s hurt? Key, are you okay?” Somebody asked him, a familiar voice. Key immediately wipes his tears away and turned around

“Noona?” he furrowed his eyebrows,

“Answer me, Key. What’s hurt? Are you okay?” SooYoung tilted her head in confused, “why are you here?” she asked,

“Uh-oh. Me? I’m just—“

“Forget it. Just answer my others questions.” SooYoung cutted him off,

“Which one?” Key chuckled awkwardly

“All of it.”

Key smiled at her and grabbed her arm, “I’m okay, Noona.” He said pulling her beside him

“What are you doing here?” SooYoung asks again,

“Just watching the moon. It’s beautiful, isn’t it noona?”

SooYoung pouted in confused at him, “Since when you become so lovey-dovey?”

Key chuckled at her question, “I’m always lovey-dovey, Noona.”

SooYoung pouted more, “I thought I’ve told you not to call me ‘Noona’.” She said

“But you’re older than me.”

“Whatever. In love, age doesn’t matter.”

Key shocked at her replies, he looked at her with eyes wide open. SooYoung just keep looking at the sky.

“So, how have you been, Key?” SooYoung asked. Key turns his gaze to her,

“Me?”

“Yeah. How’s your heart?”

Key chuckled, “never better.”

“Are you serious?” SooYoung looked at him, “I mean. You never told me you’ve had move on from Nicole. And you stop telling me about her this past two months. You always tell me everything about you and her and how you feel, end you’ll ended up with teary eyes.”

“Well…”

SooYoung pouted, “I thought we’re best friend.”

“We are, Noona!” Key chuckled and ruffled her hair as he laughed,

“Yah!! My hair!!” SooYoung shouted and followed the laughing Key, “I never see you laughed like that since we met. It’s my first time, jinjja.”

Key stops laughing and look at her. SooYoung smiled and turn her gaze back to the moon. There’s a silence after that.

“Noona…” Key breaks the silence between them

“Ne?” SooYoung answer without looking at him

“Do you love EunHyuk Hyung?” he whispered. SooYoung turn her head in shock

“Mwoh?” she chuckled, “No. He’s just like my brother.” She smiled and turning back looking up

Key nods as response, “Noona…”

“Wae?”

“What about KyuHyun Hyung?”

SooYoung laughed at his question, “What are you talking about? We’re only friends.”

Key nods again. SooYoung shook her head as she laughed,

“Noona?”

“What’s now?!”

“I love you.”

SooYoung’s eyes widen out. made a gasp as she turned her gaze to Key. Key put his head down as he cursed his self, Why did you say that, Kibum?!

“What?” SooYoung asked. Kibum just put his head down more, “You said what, Kibum-ah?”

“I- I love y-you.” Key stuttered, “Mianhae, Noona. I shouldn’t have loved you.” Tears streaming down his face now,

“Wha—“

“I know this is so wrong. But I can’t help it, Noona. It hurts to see you with someone else. It was hurt when you ignored me and talking to someone else.” He paused for a while, “I know you only see me as your little brother, but I can’t deny it anymore, Noona. I love you. And acting like I don’t love you is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. It’s just hurt so much.”

“Kibum-ah…”

“I can’t get you out of my mind, Noona.” He sobs.

“Key, I-I’m sorry.” SooYoung stuttered, Key shook his head fast

“No, Noona. It’s okay. I understand if you don’t love me too. I know you love somebody who is older than you. I just can’t keep it anymore.”

“Key, stop it.”

“Noona….”

“Stop.” SooYoung sighed before she cupped his face with her hands, “I said stop.” She wipes his tears away and smiles while looking into his eyes, “You don’t have to say it if it hurts you.”

“Noo—“

“Let’s take a walk. Buy me cupcakes!” SooYoung exclaimed as she grab Key’s hand and pull him with her,

“But, Noona…”

“No buts!!” she protested as she pouted, “It’s your punishment for not telling me your true feeling early and for making me waiting in pain!”

Key eyes widen out as she pull SooYoung back, “What?”

SooYoung just giggled, “Come on! I need my cupcakes!” she pouted cutely. Key smiled and holds her hand tightly, pulling her with him.

They walk through the street with holding hands. Not a single word comes out from their mouth but a giggles and chuckles. Key put SooYoung hand in his pocket,

“Which flavor do you want to buy, Noona?” he asked

SooYoung tilted her head, thinking. “I love chocolate, but you can buy any flavor, I’d eat all of it anyway.” She chuckled. Key laughed and nods his head. When they arrived SooYoung suddenly let her hand from Key.

“You go in. I need to buy something there,” SooYoung said pointing at a shop, Key nodded slowly. SooYoung walks and waved at him. She run to the shop and Key entered the cake shop. He bow at the cashier and smiled at her,

“Please give me this chocolate ones and this…” Key said as he pointed at the cake. After paying the cupcakes Key walked out and waiting SooYoung in front of the shops. Suddenly rain falls from the sky.

“KIBUM-AH!!” He heard SooYoung screams his name. Key looked up and smile when he sees SooYoung on the sidewalk waving cutely to him. He smiled and runs to her, but in the half way he stopped when he saw SooYoung take out a paper behind her and hold it with a grins in her face.

Key narrowed his eyes to see the text in it.

He smiled after reading it and walking fast towards her. Ignoring the rain that fall upon him. He drop the cupcakes when she already in front of her and took her into long embrace before he close the gap between them. 

“I’d love to, SooYoung noona.” He whispered between the kiss. SooYoung smiled and kissed him back while put her arms over his body, ignoring his wet jacket.
