Not very pretty
Almost Cinderella Almost LoversAUTHORS POV
"You wanted to see me?" Eun Mi asked as she stepped towards Sung Ah.
"Yes," Sung Ah got up and sat up.
"So, what do you want?"
"Did you finish your errands? Cause I need you to go back to the restaurant and take the night shift." Sung Ah said as she sipped her orange juice with her favourite swirly straw.
"Urm, tonight's my night off and urm there's prom at school so..."
Eun Mi was praying that Sung Ah'll let her go to prom.
"I know, but you need to stop being self-centered Eun Mi and start thinking of others."
Eun Mi was gobsmacked. She was ALWAYS thinking of others. Especially Sung Ah. Literally.
"And others need you to go to the restaurant and mop the floors tonight."
"BUT, I really need to go to this dance Sung Ah. I have to." Eun Mi pleaded with tears forming in her eyes.
"Cmon Eun Mi, you need to earn your tuition money for college,"
"Sung Ah, I'm a straight- A student, I work 7 days a week AND I'm taking extra classes. I've never asked you for anything. PLEASE let me go to this dance." Eun Mi pleaded with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Sigh, sweetheart, now that you're older, there's something I've always wanted to tell you, and I think.. you're ready to hear it."
Eun Mi glared at her.
"You're not very pretty and you're never going to be." She smirked.
Eun Mi just rolled her eyes.
"I'm so glad we had that talk!" Eun Mi heard as she walked to her room.
"I guess I'm never going to the dance," Eun Mi muttered.
