[ P R E V I E W ]

"Brat, why are you following me around? You're so ing annoying!" Kai grabbed his injured guitar and threw her an acidic glance before stalking away. 

"B-bwoh...? Yah! You don't use that language in the presence of a lady--...yah!" Mi Sol was angry and incredulous; nobody ever spoke to her like that and nobody ever certainly turned their backs on her. She watched as he tightened his hold on his guitar and walked away seething with anger, her legs moving towards him on their own accord.

She hated this, she hated that she was so drawn to someone who was so wrong for her. He was mean, uncouth, arrogant, never went along her wishes...and did things with her heart that she's never ever felt before.

Kim Mi Sol, what is wrong with you? The guy obviously hates you! Now turn around and--...Mi Sol thought reproachfully before bumping into something broad and hard, which was, apparently, Kai's back.

Her chin was forced up by Kai's fingers, causing her to look straight into his dark, hypnotizing orbs. She ignored her quickening heart rate, hoping against hope her face and the volume of her heart beat weren't betraying her right now.

"I can use whatever the hell language I want and if you don't stay away from me soon, freak, your ears aren't gonna be the only ones bleeding." He said, softly and with subtle menace while she inwardly panicked as the whispered threat finally registered.

But somehow, without even knowing him, she knew he would never hurt her and that there was a whole lot of good underneath that wild, unpolished surface. She just had to make him show it.

"Fine then, use whatever language you want around me but in exchange--..."

"Excuse me? I don't remember starting a negotiation."

"--...in exchange, you have to go on three dates with me."

She smiled prettily and with the natural, almost arrogant confidence which came with the nature of her birth. Kai paused for a second, a disbelieving expression on his face, before narrowing his eyes and letting go of Mi Sol, as though she burned him. 

He couldn't quite believe the ridiculous things he was hearing from this beautiful, petite princess and deep inside, he knew he was scared that the more he was around her, the more he was going to be dragged around her pace. He needed her to stay away from him, if he ever wanted his peace and quiet back, and he also knew he wasn't going to get his way if he doesn't agree to this prepostrous deal.

"Three dates and that's it? You're never gonna show your ugly face around my territory again?"

Mi Sol rolled her eyes at him as she folded her arms in front of her, an exact copy of her brother Howon's gesture when he thought someone was being ridiculous and stupid. If the guy thought that by being rude and obnoxious, she was going to lose interest in him, he was dead wrong. 

"Yep, after three dates I'm not gonna follow you around anymore...you know why?" Mi Sol replied, the taunting tone of her voice belying her innocent smile. Kai narrowed his eyes at her, taking an instinctive step back as she sauntered closer to him until only a few inches separated them.

"Because, devil boy, after three dates...you're the one who's going to be looking for me."

"O-oppa! You're not serious...right? Tell me you're actually joking!" Mi Sol implored, the desperate hope in her expression reflected in her tone. She glanced at her older brothers, horrow dawning when their expressions remained firm and unrelenting. Myungsoo, her best friend out of all her oppas, wasn't even looking at her.

Her older brothers had never done anything she didn't want before, which was why she couldn't quite comprehend why they were trying to ruin her life in one fell swoop right now.

"Marriage?! Oppa, I'm too young to get married! I--..I--...I don't even like him!"

"Mimi-ah, didn't you like him before? You even used to follow him around--..." Sunggyu's tone was calm and gentle but Mi Sol cut him off sharply, hating the patronizing words coming out of their eldest brother's mouth.

"Oppa, that was before! I don't like him and I doubt he even likes me that way...please, please, Gyu-oppa, don't do this to me..." She grabbed Sunggyu's sleeves and shook them helplessly, frustration and anger causing tears to brim in her eyes. She knew it was an uphill batttle but she had to try anyway; there  was just no way she was going to married to someone other than her fated prince.

Sunggyu sighed and embraced the trembling girl, sending his dongsaengs a distress signal over Mi Sol's head.

"Mi Sol, this is for your own good...please, just listen to your brothers and--..." Woohyun remarked, reaching out to pat Mi Sol's head before the petite girl removed herself from her older brothers' grasps and going to the person she could always rely on to take her side.

"Myung, don't let them do this to me...I can't marry him, not him! Myung, if you love me, don't let the other oppas force me into this marriage..." Mi Sol almost begged, using that same look Myungsoo could never ever resist.

Out of all the Kim brothers, Myungsoo was the closest one in age and in relationship with Mi Sol; he always sided with her no matter what, even if she was being unreasonable and she did the same for him. Mi Sol respected and loved all her brothers to bits but they all knew Myungsoo was the one to whom Mi Sol would listen to and follow unconditionally. 

Myungsoo heaved a long sigh before speaking, looking straignt into Mi Sol's tear-filled eyes. He never could bear lying to her and he was feeling just as frustrated seeing Mi Sol hurt like this. "I'm sorry, Mimi...oppa can't bail you out this time."

"O-oppa!" Mi Sol's eyes widened with surprise, shock marring her beautiful face. Those were the last words she expected to hear from him; Myungsoo was her ally, her knight-in-shining-armor and her favorite older brother. His words didn't make any sense to her. "--wh--why are you--...oppa!"

"Princess, Woohyun-oppa is right...this is for your own good. I--...I'm sorry."

This is my first EXO-Infinite fanfic...well, pretty much my first ever fanfic...and I hope you guys could read and enjoy it. My biases are Kai and Sunggyu (and if you're wondering why Sunggyu isn't one of the main guys, it's because he's already my husband ^__^) and I am very much in love with  Infinite and EXO.
