"H-how”, zi tao whispers under his breath, breathing heavily, he bites his lower lip so hard until his toungue tastes blood.

"How can i get out of this place?"

When zi tao decided to do this, he didn't know it will end up like this. He is standing in the middle of somewhere that seems like some kind of a dark alley. There are nothing he can see aside fromthe darkness that completely surrounding him.

Everything is blur around him. His heartbeat is too loud, the mist is too cold, and the wind that caressing his skin is unkind.

"Clack".

Zi tao snaps his head immediately and look at his back direction warily. Do they find him?

No please no.

He quicken his pace, racing despite the fact that he doesn't ing know where to go.  He trips over rocks and lands on his hands and knees when the terrifying clack clack sound once again echoes in the darkness.

"clack clack"

He can’t stop running, no, not now when he almost reach his destination. breathes a sob; a tear that he has been holding back spoiling on the smooth cheek, drips off his chin. Now that they've started, though, he can't make it stop. Tumble into the nearest wall, he stops running and lets the sobs shake his body.

Wrapping his arms around his well-defined torso, zi tao just realized his palms are covered in blood. Now that his feels slowly back for the numbness, he starts to feel the itch and the throb of his wound.

He clench his teeth, feels ashamed for himself. Why am i so easily frightened? He can't let him guard down. He has to prove to the hyungs that he's strong. He doesn't afraid of anything.

But now when reality is being showed in front of him, he just can't avoid the truth.

He is----

"Zi tao?"

Tao swears his heart almost stops beating. He accidentally presses the X button and drops the console to the ground, not moving an inch.

"I told you not to play that goddamn horror game again. Why don't you listen to me?" Kris sighs, dropping his ransel to the nearest couch and approaching the youngest with two long steps.His tired face (handsome tired face, tao’s brain can’t help but goes fajshfakjfdak)

"...gege" tao snuggles to the older boy's embrace once feels the other’s presence, so relieved to find someone to cling.

Kris holds the other's stiff body, the same body that does amazing flips and strong punches when it had to. Kris almost smiling when his brain points out the irony of the situation, but the thought immediately vanished when he notices the tears.

"Enough now. Promise me you won't play that again"

"But yixing ge said...”

"Don’t listen to that stupid unicorn. ("hey i hear that!" he vaguely hears someone yells from kitchen direction.) Now let's clean your face and change your pajamas. We go to get cake or ice cream.” Kris decides, ignoring the fact that he could fall asleep anytime soon because he is so darn tired. but If there is something that could cheer tao up, it’s three things. A cake, a cake, or a cake. (“no it’s kris gege, kris gege, and kris gege” Luhan once teases them when kris jokingly tells them that.)

"cake?" an innocent smile appeared in the once tear streaking face. Kris couldn't help but chuckles.

"yeahyeah".

"Can we buy for the geges too? i want to thank luhan ge for the console, and xiumin ge was making me breakfast when you had that early meeting, and chen ge helped me with the dishes earlier"

Kris nods, still smiling, tugging the youngest arm and leads him to the bathroom.

"Oh and can you please not telling yixing ge we are not gonna buy him cake for being so mean? just tell him you are forget, okay Kris ge?"

("i hear thaaaat!" they vaguely hear someone interups from kitchen direction)

an3: i'm not pleased with the lack of taoris at both disneyland and smtown moment. things i saw are tao being adorable wandering alone most of the time.
