Key’s POV

 

    “Key? Key?”

Minho shook me, but I couldn’t  respond, I just couldn’t find the words

    “Shin Se Kyung and SHINee’s Kim Jonghyun are dating”

Onew repeated the news, as if we didn’t hear them already. The others were not so shocked as me, but I had my reasons.

               “Why didn’t Jonghyun-hyung tell us anything?”

I heard Taemin say beside me, nobody knew, not even me. Me and Jonghyun were so close yet still he didn’t even bother telling me.

               “Kibum do you know about this?”

Onew asked me, no... I didn’t. I only shook my head. I was getting teary.

               “Key-hyung?”

Taemin hugged me. That didn’t help me at all, even tough I knew he ment no harm. I felt tears falling down my cheeks, I burried my head into my hands.

               “What’s wrong key?”

Onew was now more concerned than before, I wanned to tell him that I was ok, but I couldn’t speak, neither lie.

 

 

 

Flashback 

 

“Key~” the puppy hugged me behind stardling me.

“yah! babo!” I said. what did he want now? he hugged me a bit tighter.  Jonghyun came closer and closer to me, he was making my heart beating like crazy.

“You know Key~” he started

“huh?” I bet he wanned to tease me more

“you know that...” he suddenly got really serious

“yeah?” he was acting really weird right now.

“You know that I like you” He pressed his head to my back

“yeah, me too like the other members” why was he this weird?

 “you know what I mean key, I like you m...” suddenly Minho came into teh room amd at that moment Jonghyun was gone.

End of Flashback

 

 

 

The sudden memories got me thinking, maybe he was trying to tell me something that day?

               “Key, why are you crying!?”

Jonghyun came rushing to my side, he had been sleeping this whole time. He tryed to dry my tears with his hands but I slapped them away.

               “K..Key!?”

He was shocked, who wouldn’t? I just glared him with my teary eyes, why didn’t he tell me? Why did he lead my feelings into something else? Why did I like him more than I should? This was his fault...

 

But I knew.... It was not his fault, it was my own fault for liking him.

 

It was wrong...

 

He’s my friend...

 

So why did I feel like this?

 

It hurts..

 

I ran upstairs leaving him there...

               “KEY!?”

I heard him shout, I slammed the door shut and fell on my bed. I needed some time alone.... but then I realised we shared the same bedroom.... Great.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

Soon Jonghyun came rushing inside the room, I bet he will break taht door somaday, he locked it after himself, why on earth? so that I cannot escape? I’m not that childish.

“Why did you have to lock it?” I growled  quietly and sniffed a little.

“Key, why are you like this?” Jonghyun sat on the bed next to me, I turned my head the other way, I didn’t feel like talking to him, I had to get my toughts straight. I kept quiet, he should have figured out.

“Key? really I have no idea why you’re acting like this”

Didn’t know... yea right

“For God sake Jonghyun! You don’t know!? Yeah right! You’re dating some girl and didn’t even bother telling me! Your bestfriend! and...”

I led it all out, I couldn’t stand it. I stared at him, at first he seemed shocked but then he started smiling and he even chuckled a little, now it was my turn to be shocked.

“What’s so funny!?” I asked hurt.

He put his finger on my lips and shut me.

“Key listen to me first, listen to what I have to say and then you can judge me”

I nodded, I cannot be angry at him for some reason.

 

 

 

“first of all, Key.... I’m not dating her”

“WHAT!?” I shouted

“SHHH! Listen” I nodded again, What is happening here?

“It’s our companies agreement, advertising priject. They are getting SHINee and Shin SeKyung-sshi some popularity”

He took a little break and continued

“There is someone else in my mind”

It hit me again, tears started falling, I sat bedide him sobbing.

“Key... shhh, Calm down” He hugged me, I hugged him back....

 

 

 

“The one I like is you Key” I sated at him shocked, he chuckled again. He hugged me

“so do you feel the same, or..?”

he looked into my eyes

“Yes... I like you”

I hardly finished my sentence when I felt his lips on mine, this turned out better than I imagined, much better.

It felt much longer .___. oh well.... I don't usually write oneshots..... x"D Jongkey is one of my fav pairings <3 SHINee <3 I'm Jonghyun biased also ;D should I write more SHINee fanfics? .___.
