Note: I got the inspiration to write this piece after listening to Stars' The Big Fight 18 times today. The lyrics didn't really stick for me until the very last word was written and so I'm unsure how this would actually fare for everyone. Initially I wanted to write another pairing for this plot but I realized that I couldn't write angst as well if I'm not in my element or if it isn't my OTP. The way this is written is a little different from how I usually write my oneshots. The voice overlap, from present to past to future. You'll understand once you read it.
