"I’ve been asked to tell you a story, my story, which somehow ended and started at the same time. The day I realized my life wasn’t quite the life I’d always wanted to live. Strict, without anything extraordinary happening. The same people surrounding me, the same conversations, every day. Then I met him. The one destined to change my life forever. April fourteenth, 1912. I remember that specific day like it was yesterday. It’s not, obviously. I was seventeen back then. Right now, I’m waiting for the day I’ll die, old and grey, like I promised him back then. There was something odd about that night. The ocean was unusually clear, the wind was barely there, and the stars were never brighter."

Hello!
So... I'm kinda nervous, since this is my first SHINee fanfic, and my first story written in English. (English is my second language, I am Dutch.) I'm still figuring out how this site works, since I'm used to posting my fanfics on a Dutch site, I'll have to get used to this one. Sorry if I mess anything up! Also, my English may be wrong, but I'm trying very hard. I got inspired to write this while watching "The Titanic in 3D" with another Kpop fan. I mumbled to her that it would make the perfect SHINee love story. So here it is! I tried to stick to the original story, I even used some of the original names (like mister Ismay) and some of the actual lines they said. ("NEVER LET GO OF THAT PROMISE" TT^TT) So.. Yeah. A lot of credits to the people who wrote the Titanic script, ofcourse. I'm just making the story into a SHINee version!
